  1. Hurrah my manta is now back on the road. Rewired and replumbed. Next upgrades are the brakes, cosworth front discs with calibra turbo calipers and rear disc conversion
  2. Im hoping to make this one in my manta. I wont put my name down until the work on my car is complete.
  3. I agree £18k for a swb quattro is cheap, maybe too cheap. As for the LWB quattro, the spec is impressive.
  4. Fibre glass bonnets are available from smith and deakin. The standard capri bonnets were crap, sooner or later the bonnet lip rusts.
  5. An awesome manta a. My personal preference is the manta b, then again i am biased.
  6. standard 0-60 is 8 seconds, while top speed is 87mph, but that is restricted. : : SUZUKI CAPPUCCINO SPORT: : tune the engines, but its quite expensive to tune. I wouldnt mind having a drive of someones. Smart roadsters are still a bit expensive for what they are and not that quick either.
  7. They do look awesome dont they! I like it from the rear especially with the wrc spoiler blocks. Id prefer a uk car although quite rare, most of the are jap imports, the jap wrc spec is the best at 255bhp but because its an import its much more. Im 26 now with 1 ncb and its only around £900 a year which is about £50 more than my ignis sport and thats only group 9. While an impreza wrx same as the celica, slower than the celica is £3500 a year. Crazy.
  8. Ive always wondered what would a suzuki cappuccino be like? Are there any owners on here? 700kgs, with a turboed motorbike engine with rwd, it would a great drift car with lsd fitted, larger fmic, and restrictor removed.
  9. Has anyone owned/owns an st205 model GT4? Ive read quite alot of stuff on them online, but how good are they? It would be the best alternative to an evo/impreza without paying silly money for insurance.
  10. Ive been in a pursuit vectra which is the same as a vxr but a basic spec version. Same engine, same suspension, same brakes. I love them very much, much faster than my old octavia vrs. Personally I wouldnt have one because theyre FWD.
  11. I was a victim of this scumbag on the manta forum. Ive warned as many forums as possible about this however since Briskoda charge for membership to post in the for sale section I wasnt able to do so.
  12. yes exactly! and the knife fights, escaping from hospital! Theres videos of it on you tube.
  13. It came from the desert is my amiga favourite too, along with secret of monkey island. If you go to the cinemaware website, you can download it came from the desert for free.
  14. Another crap FWD ford with polititcally correct subtle body mods. What ever happened to fords like these. YouTube - Escort Cosworth ad
  15. I would love to go in the 400, but the drive train is currently being replaced. May go in the ignis.
  16. Some police cars have had a hard life, while on the other hand they are serviced regularly. The seat bolters are usually worn down however seats are not expensive. On the traffic cars eg. omegs, vectras they have uprated brakes/suspension, heavy duty batteries, close ratio gearbox with limited slip diff ( ). The trim levels are usually basic. As for holes in the dashboard, I havent seen this myself to be honest, it is usually neatly fitted. Wardy you have PM.
  17. If your looking for them in greater manchester I can find out.
  18. I was getting calls from these cretins every day for over a month. I couldnt figure out who it was at first as they wouldnt leave a voicemail message. Absolute low lifes.
  19. So for those who stare into police vehicles, remember there people under the uniform, like anyone else.
  20. Its like the music is jumping like an old record. Some albums are fine and some are not. It means I have to check each song and redo it if its not right.
  21. When I import songs from cd to my ipod. some songs have glitches in them, why and how can I stop this?
  22. the forum may have been SISOC.co.uk theres a swift sport section on their.
