  1. On the way home earlier I only achieved 58mpg in Normal mode. And what it looks like when you change to Sport mode. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  2. Quick photo when I got to work tonight. Travelled to work tonight solely on electric in Eco mode (9 miles). Throttle response is very poor as in you need to push it half down before anything happens. Great for round town and the regenerating brakes is good too. Also very quiet. Does have a sound generator fitted to warn pedestrians although I can't hear it(yet). Showed an instant of 69.3 mpg on the display. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  3. Thanks. Yes it's typical of the Early Japanese cars but I like it. Picked it up today. Fully loaded interior is just excellent. Has a 10 speaker Mark Levinson sound system which only the Premier edition gets. The sound is out of this world. It was a great drive back to Bournemouth (30 miles). In town it was on full electric with occasional engine to get up to speed. On the motorway it was both because of 70mph but it was showing an instant mpg reading of 60.6. When I got back ( that was staying in normal mode). I did give it a quick try in Sport mode. The throttle response is sharp and instant and the steering stiffens up,quite a good drive especially for overtaking. Nice full leather interior and the seats are very comfortable. Still no noticeable hard suspension on this. Just trying to get to know what all the switches and buttons do at the moment. Trying to pair my iPhone with it was a bit confusing but did it in the end. There's a lot of menus on the flip up screen. Otherwise pleased. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  5. No not a Skoda this time. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  6. I actually like them. Yes they're dated but typical Japanese of the 90,s. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Which buttons are you referring to? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  8. I didn't try Volvo no because I don't like any of there cars these days. The Lexus was the first I looked at. I've planned getting one for sometime after I've read about them on forums. I really do like Japanese cars so decided to return to them after Skoda ownership. The seats are superb in the CT.As said they certainly know how to do interiors.
  9. Just done a deal on a car in Fareham. So about 30 miles from Bournemouth. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  10. Also hitting the bus industry. A lot of fitters are leaving the garages as they're paying more for HGV fitters. Many of ours have moved on. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  11. A few dealer pics of the interior. I like the typical Japanese look and feel. A lot of leather in perfect condition. It's been well looked after previously. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  12. Nice replacement car. Hope you enjoy it [emoji4] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  14. Didn't find it hard at all. Compared to the Swift Sport the Lexus is soft and much better on my back.
  15. Thanks Nels. If I don't like something I will change it regardless. Maybe that's good or bad? I couldn't put up with the Rapid sadly due to problems and the Swift is too much a hard ride for me. I have lost on all occasions but I will search for something satisfying to me. The Lexus is more than that. I know it's not a brand new one but its history is full and good with no warranty work or problems. Just 100% Lexus history right up to date. 16. It also has an underfloor compartment too which is half its length. Obviously no spare wheel [emoji57] Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  17. Thanks Chris. Some say its small but I think it's fairly big similar to a Spaceback size. Dealer photo here of it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  18. The ride was great. Didn't notice any harshness as I was keeping an eye out for it considering what the Swift is like on low profiles. It was a quiet comfy drive for a car sat on 225/45x17 Goodyear tyres. The only ct200 I've read about being harsh is the F Sport which gets lots of complaints. With the batteries being under the back seat the weight is very evenly distributed giving it little body roll and an even ride through bends. I was totally surprised how good these cars are. This is the only picture I have of it so far. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. @ Nels. Yes lost quite a bit doing the deal but it had to be done. The Lexus is all luxury. @ Camelspyyder. Headroom is perfectly ok inside especially for me at 6'4" [emoji4] The seats are all electric but I still didn't need to go down that much. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. Thanks Mick. I know what you mean. It's just too firm yet the seats are very comfy yet I think it's too bone shattering for me. I will get pics up of the Lexus next week when I get it. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  21. Well after 6 months I'm having to part with the Swift. The ride is just too harsh on my back. It's starting to niggle it again so it's got to go. Shame really as its great fun to own/drive. They are a very firm ride but it's beating the hell out of my back. It'll probably be ok for a younger person but obviously not for me at 50 years old. I've now done a deal on a Lexus ct200h and they're taking the Swift too. Just fell in love with all the leather and top spec of the Lexus and the hybrid is a great drive. 22. I'm getting a Lexus CT200h. A lot of car for the money. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

  24. Bit of sad news. I'm getting rid of the Swift due to it being too much of a harsh ride for me. I've suffered with my back last year and taken a long time off work and the Swift is starting to niggle it. Shame really as it's fun to drive. To someone else it maybe ok (also younger) but I'm not taking the risk. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
