That's a good result. I found not laying around helps and keep moving around ( easier said than done) does help. Short walks is good for movement of the back. Be careful with the Neproxin as they bung you up ( did me) which doesn't help whilst your straining on the lav haha. My doctor told me that they can do this. I found the seats in the Rapid Sport were rubbish and used to aggravate my back as there was no lower back support. The Swift Sport I got now has proper lumbar support and really helps relieve a lot of the pain Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

I've just returned to work after 6 months with Sciatica. It was really bad. I've never felt pain like it ever down my right leg. I couldn't even touch the back of it yet it was completely numb including my right buttock. I was prescribed: Co dydramol,Neproxin,diazepam and Oramorph(morphine). None of it done any good. My doctor sent me for an MRI scan and in the mean time I had an epidural (not the pregnancy one) which didn't do any good. The scan showed my very lowest disc to be prolapsed. My nerve keeps being pinched occasionally now after returning to work which has brought it back slightly (I'm a bus fitter). Last Monday I went for my 3 month check up and now I'm being referred for an X-ray for a back specialist so they can decide whether to do a discectomy(shave the disc) which has a lot for and against. I really need to think about this as obviously it can affect your life and I'm 50 now. I still keep up the physio I was told to do to help it and I'm on light duties at work (understanding boss ). Being 6'4" tall and quite slim I do tend to suffer with my back but not had anything like this before. Sorry for any spelling mistakes. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
