Nowthen, I have 17" Cupra alloys on my VRS. I currently have Pirelli P zeros. My local garage is charging £100 a corner. What do people recommend as I heard these were quite soft? Any suggestions, much appreciated.

Just in case anyone has this issue and searches for it too. The stealers did it for free as its a known Fabia issue too. They did it despite my car just being out of warranty FYI.

Nowthen, After leaving my Fabia VRS yesterday am, I noticed the rad fan was still on after I left it. Knowing they stay on for a bit when hot, didn't think much of it. However at lunch battery was completely flat, although could hear v slight whirring of the fan. Tried jump starting it and sparks went everywhere, I assume cos mine was still drawing power from the donor. Anyhow, got it started and charged it wouldn't switch off again. So I took out the fuse for the fan (8 on the bat lid) and it still was going! What's all that about? Did a quick search and some octys were having the same issue, their switch has gone and its listed as a known Skoda fault. Is that the same with the Fabia? Is it a trip to the stealership, I wonder if I could get it under my 1 year warranty (just out of the 3 year standard). Currently cant stop without engine on or battery connected otherwise it goes flat, bit like an annoying version of Speed! Any advice much appreciated

Now thats a good idea Just tried my home dock in the ash tray and it fits very well and the wires go under the trim. Will get the line out sound plus have a USB out to the 12v power for charging too. To top it off the whole lot fits with the lid down for stealth storage. Just ordered the Connects2 CTVSKX001 off ebay.

Yep, think they look good. I think the sunset glass is different to aftermarket tints though? Also a black car always looks darker with tints.

All, I have a remap on my furby vrs, just wondering what the consensus was on driving so not to give my standard clutch an early grave? 4th - don't accelerate too briskly below 2k rpm 5th/6th - don't accelerate too briskly below 2.5k rpm? Change around 4k rpm? Any advice to reduce clutch wear?

I have a black furby Vrs, and am thinking of tinting the back 3 windows with light smoke. Just wondered if anyone had any pics of theirs tinted? I would like a subtle look rather than the van look and don't want to do the front size ones due to potential issues with the law. Cheers

Nowthen, not sure on the terminology but... Just noticed my "silver rear door lock pullups" don't have a nice plastic surround the hole in which they pop up from, like the ones in the front do with a flashing LED. Guess that's the alarm LED, not surprised don't have that on the rears, but they look a bit cheap without any sort of surround. Is that normal?
