i would use Millers Petrol Power Eco Max 500ml or there is a diesel version £12 from halfords and treats upto 10 tanks of fuel and when i had my diesel fabia it does help alot imo.

Hello, I have recentley purchased a VRS, so far im very happy with it, today spent hours cleaning it and making it shiney i wanted to ask peoples opinions... i was thinking of replacing the standard air filter and just buy a pipercross or k&n air filter (the ones that just are a direct replacement) which drop into the standard housing but was looking over DPM Performance and saw this air intake Or i was just going to buy a pipercross for £35 off eBay delivered, i dont want to do too many modifications and start pulling items out of the engine bay but i would think that looking at the air intake is a simple task as long as your not replacing the whole standard housing, so is that what the above does? Opinions please Look forward to hearing your responses - Ryan

have to be a smart repair, if you can get your nail in the scratch you cant use polishes with fillers you just have to get a smart repair im affraid, well thats in my experience and your photo looks like it has gone down to the metal. Ryan

well Cliveski i had no interest over 10 days - gutted springs to mind! the skoda dealer in south wales (capitol skoda) only wanted to give me £800 as he would just put it through newport auctions, i said your having a laugh aint you private this is worth min £1300 so in the end we agreed £1000 broke my heart as i paid £3400 2 years ago! but i saved abit on my vrs, had to travel but round by me the same year was more miles, mine 12,290, brum 23k for £2k more i paid 11995 for mine and skoda insurance gave me a mega cheap deal to insure it! £695 fully comp! cheapest id had was £800 and dearest was £2000, average was £1300. I was just wondering if it needed an uprated rarb but after driving it on the way home for like 90miles i think its fine just as is, its fast and handles well but id have to drive a vrs with rarb fitted to see if there is any major difference. Hello people! As of tomorrow i shall of purchased an Octavia VRS 08 plate petrol. I wondered ive read reviews on parker about the chassis in regards to handeling being not so great in corners? I just wondered if this is true from people who has a VRS. Also i just wondered what are good modifications ? if any are needed? Suggestions please! Ryan

service in february 2010 had brakes discs and pads changed on front and rear, fuel filter, oil and oil filter changed and brake fluid had cambelt changed at 77,500 with rollers and tensiors and water pump replaced with metal impelor version mot due 3rd of september 2010 and tax up end of february 2011 - i would be willing to put a further 12months MOT on this if i had a buyer as im confident this would pass with no problems. Also i will do a oil and filter change as the service in february was 97,000 miles and as its nearly at 107,000 i would do this for you to. this car for my old job was only motoroway miles which was 10 junctions of the M42 everyday. Polished with a DA polisher, can either leave in Sony cd player or put in STD which is just casstte/radio I'm on the train at the moment so ill post pictures later.
