  1. Does your car have the traffic sign recognition system? May be related to that.
  2. Governed by The Road Vehicles (Display of Registration Marks) Regulations 2001 Lesgislation which state that they must conform to BS standard BS AU 145d. BS standard which says they must have (amongst other) The name, trademark or other means of identification of the number plate supplier. Name and postcode of the supplying outlet.
  3. This is encouraging and strange. I'm awaiting delivery of my 1.5 SEL. Based upon the website information "Wireless SmartLink for Apple Car Play only (wired for Android Auto and mirrorlink)" I was not expecting to be able to do wireless with my Pixel 5, but people's experience here would suggest otherwise.
  4. Thanks for that, I was concerned that if I needed to activate some service with Skoda that they were asking for lots of unnecessary information. Good to know that this isn't the case.
  5. Interested to see how you get on. With regard to the survey, was all of that information (and in fact completing the survey itself) mandatory and therefore could you not have made the decision not to complete it instead?
  6. Not had any experience of this issue as I have only started browsing the forum as I've just placed an order for an Octavia myself but have you tried charging the car's battery. From experience on other start stop equipped cars, a flat or failing battery was often the cause of the start stop not working. The body shop may have had the doors open etc while working on the car and allowed the battery to drain lower than normal.
