You should get a prompt to press the unlock button on each of the keys, has it displayed that message?

Infotainment System Restarting endlessly
@varooomThanks for the file, worked exactly to the instructions. Update took about 30mins. Manual loaded immediately after and another software update followed. Just need to take it out for a drive and see if that is the end of the intermittent reboots. Thanks for sharing, that's what makes this one of the best communities.

@varooomHi would it be possible to also have the link for the update? Thanks in advance.

Satnav doesn't remember any settings
Mine was also done by the dealership under warranty.

Satnav doesn't remember any settings
I had the same issue along with the SOS pop, the inability to overtake with ACC on etc. Mine was resolved and has remembered all of the favourites and destinations with a software update at the same time as the other issues. I suspect that they have missed an update to one of the modules.

Dual Bluetooth connectivity.
Yes, it is able to do this too.

Remotely Lock & Unlock Doors Using MySkoda App
I had it set up and at no point did I need to hand my keys over. It was just an administrative task at the dealership once I gave proof of who I was via my driving licence. I have both keys, but didn't even have the second one with me or need it once I returned home for the app to work

Handbrake won't release
That's extremely unfortunate but it isn't typical. Most electronics will either fail early in life or run for a long time and then fail. Yours is the former. Hopefully you will get sorted and back up and running soon.

Passenger air bag problem after gateway controller replacement... help please...
I had mine returned from having some work done and the airbag switch was likewise turned off. I definitely didn't have it like that when it went in. I presumed that it was a safety issue for the technician as they were working in the area and they had just forgotten to re-enable it.

Rear Centre Twin Seat belt buckle
It also might be worth checking that no debris has found it's way into the slot, this could be enough to prevent it latching. Try using a vacuum cleaner attachment to see if there is anything stuck.

Service campaigns option appeared in settings
Likewise, I received this today. When I checked it told me that there were no campaign updates available for me.

Boot liner tray
There are two versions, the RZ231542 which is for the variable floor in the lower position and the RZ231541 for the variable boot floor in the upper position. The one you have is for the lower position. I have one for the upper position and I find the fit, quality and finish is more than acceptable. I'm now on my third one for each of the last three cars I've owned.

Pirelli P7 no sidewall protection
Is it worth checking with the repair company about what/if anything to use? You wouldn't want to put something on that would react with what they are going to use or make their job harder.

New Ap in Shop
I had it initially, but not since then.

New Ap in Shop
Has anyone tried or found the solution to the following:- Within my Google calendar I have multiple calendars created for organising various different categories of events etc (these are still part of the same Google account rather than belonging to and being imported from another account). However when I go into the calendar on the car I only get the main calendar, Birthdays and Holidays as the options to display. Events from all of my other calendars are not displayed and I can't find a place where I can specify that they should. Any ideas?

Octavia Brakes.
When I first got my car after switching from my Passat I found that the brakes lacked a little bite. However with a couple of thousand miles under the belt everything has bedded in and they are as sharp and precise as I would like them to be. I can't put my finger on the exact point when they felt right, just that they do now. Give it a few hundred miles and let the discs and pads bed in before changing anything out.

Brake Discs and Wheel Bearings
From a warranty viewpoint, brake discs and pads are a wear item and it is possible through hard use (towing, or hard braking) to wear them out in 10,000 miles. So as a rule I would expect them to not cover them. The position with a battery would be different, there is pretty much nothing that you could do to a battery through usage that would kill it. If I am able to walk in and buy a battery from Halfords that has a 5 year guarantee, it would be difficult for Skoda to defend rejecting a failed one after 10,000 miles.

Software Update Recall/Campaigns
I have had zero success in getting any information for mine, using the link above on numerous occasions, whenever I try I get "Sorry, this service is temporarily unavailable. Please try again later." Their idea of temporary and mine are worlds apart

Skoda 1.5 TSI ACT
Same for me, them only way I know that it has is that there is an eco light on the display.

Apple carplay
In the Skoda sat Nav, have you set a home or work address and does it retain that the next time you come to use it? This is the bit that bugs (sorry 😊) me the most.

ACC misbehaving
Adaptive cruise control. Rather than just keeping a set speed, the car also uses radar etc to detect the car in front and maintain a distance from and matches your car to the speed of the one in front. Ideal when traffic speeds rise and fall.

Aussie RS owner with software problems
Within Android Auto on your phone there is a setting that says "Automatically resume Media". My understanding is that if this is selected then it will do what you say, otherwise it should start up but not play music. Mine is due to be delivered 8am Monday morning, so can't check myself to confirm.

Delivery times?
Unless they view it as "we've sold everything that can be delivered for the next 6 months, if you want one that much, you'll pay the price we offer" Possibly even affected by the chip shortage issue that is impacting the whole industry. If they are at reduced production abilities, then why sell them cheap. Welcome to the site BTW.

New vRS - boot floor and servicing
I have it on my Passat and my incoming Octavia SEL. Circumstances where it helps are when putting in large items but not necessarily heavy items, if it's a two person lift then it helps to not have to also raise it above the boot lip to get it back out. Also better for the dog getting in and out of the car. Likewise, when grabbing somewhere to sit to have a coffee after being out walking, the boot popped open and a flat floor is so much more comfortable than one in the lower position.

2021 E-Tech Octavia Dash Cam??
If you have it, you should get the speed limit signs displaying on the instrument cluster as it detects them. I am awaiting my car, so don't know whether the standard lane assist (for an SEL) has a similar camera. Calum
