Hi all, I have just customised my front fog lights to work as DRL's but I don't have the option to de-select the "Turn off daytime running lights when parking brake is on" for some reason. Do additional customise options have to be activated on the Canbus Gateway? I now have a newer Canbus fitted after installing a Columbus and bluetooth so I should be able to activate more options.

Unfortunately those are squeaks and mine is a rattle, it sounds very similar to a CD not being replaced correctly in it's holder and virbrating, no its not a CD before anyone says coz I don't have any in the car lol!

I've done exactly this i.e. eBay auto light switch and Chinese sensor, but whilst away this weekend I left the car in auto light setting and returned home to a flat battery??? I have noticed that when in auto setting and I lock the car the side lights and indicators Bink 5/6 times before going off, is this normal?

No not yet but Adamal and I think it could have something to do with recirculation unit behind the glove box, well that's the area it's coming from anyway. I will be checking the window mech soon but it's a fuss so I keep finding other things to do lol.

Just a pairing code of 1234 and it connected, 0000 didn't work on first attempt.

I fitted everything today and it works a treat, no MFSW or Maxidot I just connected through the Columbus unit. Audio streaming via Spotify and calls are brilliant on the upgraded 'Sound System', I'm well happy. It's a pig of a job fitting all the extra cabling behind the unit so I removed the Climate Control panel and moved the harness around to help make some room. You'd never know the car didn't have it as standard! A bit thank you to Adamal for helping me code everything last weekend your a top fella, don't drink all the Red Stripe at once.

It's coming from behind the passenger air bag around the pollen filter but I've had that out and cleaned it. I've checked most things in the same vicinity but nothing is loose, very annoying and I can't ignore it.

Got mine from ebay off a 2011 Audi TT for £75 including pads, they'd even been cleaned and re-sprayed dark grey, an absolute steal and working like a dream.

Fair play, I'm tempted to ring them now and try my luck. U got any pics?

Lucky fella, how long had they been on eBay before you snapped them up? You got a VRS then I take it, hope you had them for a good price?

I've very recently upgraded from 288 to 312mm front discs and there's definitely a noticeable more powerful initial bite over standard. I've not planted my foot to do an emergency stop just yet coz I don't want my face to come off!

Has anyone got a suggestion of how to find or diagnose this very annoying rattle which sounds like a loose flap virbrating, it's emanating from above the glove box and behind the passenger airbag. I've had the glove box off for a week and been poking around to no avail, is it a dash out job or can I remove something off the top like the mesh grill etc??? It's eating me alive ahh, cheers.

Does anyone know if my newly fitted Columbus and Bluetooth module need to be coded together in order for the Bluetooth to show up on the Columbus unit under PHONE? I've tried connecting the Bluetooth to the Columbus but it's not picking it up???

I actually need the green one for the left side, I tried the blue connector (CD changer) but it's side specific. I've emailed Chris from here who works in parts for Vw/Skoda.

Hey all, I'm after Part No: 3B7 035 447 A (tyco 1394047-1) which is known as a female quad lock connector/adapter. It looks like the Blue connector which houses the black connector that fits in a quad lock in the back of my Columbus. I'm trying to install Bluetooth but the harness is secondhand and missing this connector. Cheers.
