Are they a straight swap then? I just changed all the bulbs to LED!

I broke my wrist 5 weeks ago and I'm not allowed to drive so eBay has been my nemesis of late, I can't help myself need to update the interior of my Octy Sport. New VRS steering wheel and airbag (may de-logo vrs), electric window chrome switches, chrome auto electric mirror switch and chrome auto headlight switch. I've had the pedals fitted for a year or more but I wish they had comes as standard because the cockpit looked drab before, next is a new gear shifter, I'm well happy!

I bought the car in March 2009 and it was already fitted, it looks OEM to me and I've had all door cards off at some point since I've had her, it looks factory fitted!

Beautiful car but just a bit far from me here in South Wales. I've always loved the LE especially the seats, we even had a group buy on here a few years back when the company who were contracted by Skoda to make and supply the covers had some left over in case of warranty work and we're selling them cheap on eBay. Communication was shocking and the deal went bad but I do recall 2 or 3 lads did get some before the group buy was organised, I was hugely dissapointed coz they only wanted £200!!

I've just been looking at a secondhand Kenwood DNX520VBT unit as a direct replacement for my standard Stream stereo and wondered will my Pre-FL suffer battery drain like it would if I'd installed the Bolero, Amundsen or Columbus??

I have the Stream with no mp3 but it does the an upgraded Sound System with 12 speakers????

I'm looking at buying a Columbus from ebay and in the item description it's asking for some details about my car so that the seller can set it up for me. Without contacting my local Skoda dealer how can I work out if I have an amplifier or not, I'm guessing they mean aerial amplifier maybe?

I know that's my concern, I hovered over the send button then thought I'd ask on here. I've just messaged him again on his mobile number so I'll give him till tomorrow then decide!

I've just been in contact with someone on eBay now about an item and managed to get £10 off his asking price if I pay him directly through PayPal using Friends and Family to save on fees. He has 100% Feedback on 194 items but I'm not sure coz I don't want to risk losing £75. What do you think I should do? Has someone got any 312mm carriers lying around to fit my Mk2 Octy Sport that they want rid of? I'm looking to upgrade the fronts from 288 to 312mm for some extra beef, cheers!

Just type auto headlight sensor into eBay and there are lots for sale, it's about £22-£25 for the chrome headlight switch and sensor control module kit but they also do non chrome specifically for Skoda which is a bit cheaper. There are two types depending on your car, just make sure it fits the MK2 Octy or MK5/6 golf because the Octy I switch is very similar except for the back connection. There's also a video on YouTube of a guy doing the retrofit, VW and Skoda use the same parts albeit a difference in illuminated colour red or green!
