  1. Bloody 'ell! Bit of a blank canvas to work on that!
  2. Gone almost cross eyed looking at ads today tbh. Nearly everything has been rebuilt/resprayed/refurbished/whatevered. Not saying that's a bad thing, but would never know just to what standard and what corners may have been cut. MOT man found some pretty scruffy and minimum welds underneath Moggsy 3 months ago for instance. (NOT dangerous) Advised me to get it back in there so he can finish it off and tidy up properly.
  3. No response. Most odd. Did you receive my PM Pasty? I'll send you another one with my email addy in it for you to pass onto your boss p'raps?
  4. My eldest has one rotting away in his back garden. He WAS going to do it up to enjoy and then move on, but that was 5 years ago, and it's just a sad skip now, full of junk rubbish and bits he took off. He is one LAZY git.
  5. Gorra dent in my screen now funnily enough!
  6. Praying that someone sticks a pin in the side of it.
  7. https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=842092179158744 This should lead to a lively debate! Was he totally within his rights to film? Was the civilian actually breaking the law? Was he correct in his assumptions? Was the rozzeress really trespassing? Did she have to be so bloody rude? Why didn't she simply remove her foot AS POLITELY requested to defuse a potential confrontation and scuffle if he touched her.......or is that what she was hoping for i suspect, quickly followed by an arrest? Was the other copper within his rights to tell him to stop filming from his own property? I don't know the FULL rights and wrongs here, but would be interested to know.
  8. Well it's either a piccy from his archives, or his son.
  9. it's the ONLY car (IMO) in their miserable current muntery line up that is.
  10. A NEW car can be rejected if the dealership can't fix it after a given number of attempts, but I'm not sure if the same rule can be applied to a 2nd hand car. Someone more knowledgeable on this subject may know the legal side of this one
  11. Do you have the same rights to reject as you would if it was purchased new though I wonder?
  12. Well if that's you in your avatart, I'll show my bare ancient arse on the Town Hall steps
  13. Correct. The search continues unabated.
  14. Yea, like you're going to hang around for a week in the hope that he might get back to you when he's finished sunning himself and actually gets around to TRYING to move his scrapper on, bloody eejit. It wasn't my question btw. My name is Victor NOT Jack.
  15. I had an 8v version for a few months. Yet ANOTHER car I wish I'd kept , along with the now virtually extinct 1.6 Visa GTi too. (same engine as the the 205 iirc) That was just SO much fun!
  16. Funnily enough, my vRS ALLEGEDLY had a blown cylinder head gasket too....according to the knob that bought it off me for a 'free 4 day test drive' in May. It was in fact K Seal in the header tank that I'D put in, 5 years earlier to cure an extremely small and occasional drip from the bottom of the rad. As I knew he was spouting absolute crap, I GLADLY gave him his money back, as I didn't really want to sell it in the first place truth be known.
  17. Any dealer/trader has legal obligations. Take him to court if he's refusing to budge, but I THINK you have to give him an opportunity to fix it first if that's what he's offered. Sorry, but I don't do bar room legal advice, but I would suggest you go and see a solicitor for some free initial advice before making your move.
  18. I talked to the DP about it, congratulating him on a cracking idea....( He claimed it was HIS idea. ) Taken off really well apparently. Cussies can cycle into Chester city center to do some perusing whilst their car is in for service. Sturdy lock provided. I think it's a brilliant idea for city center based dealers. :sun:
  19. Q: hi is there any chance i could come view the mini tomorrow evening after half 4? cheers jack 11-Aug-14 A: I am sorry, a few bidders have asked the same question and I understand. as I would need to view the a car before making a bid.but we are away for a few days, possibly a week, I will give you a call as soon as we get back. Thank you. I struggle to fathom some sheeple out sometimes, I REALLY do. Please, pray, WHY are you trying to sell a car if you're going away, and therefore making viewing out of the question?
  20. Meanwhile, the Renault dealer in Chester is now offering liveried up courtesy mountain bikes for its customers whilst their cars are in for servicing.
  21. wonder who actually makes them? Same company for all manufacturers i suspect, with a stock of manufacturers transfers to stick on the finished product perhaps?
  22. A reply came flooding in following my sarcy message. "Provisionally sold. Been very busy at work this week. Will let you know if the purchase falls through" You needn't bother you cockwomble.
  23. HGV that drove within 5' (NO exaggeration ) of my tailgate whilst I was doing 50mph in a queue of traffic. I wound my window down and waved at him to back off, which amazingly he did....to approx 10'
