Well it certainly wasn't going to be THERE. I have somewhere much more local in mind with high security, cctv etc, but hours of access are a bit restricted...9-5 at weekends, which means bringing it home to stay overnight after Sunday shows generally speaking.

Went to view a new home for Festa today, as the current one is too expensive. A small old bus depot made out of corrugated sheeting out in the wilds of N.Wales. The bloke was most pleasant, but my initial impressions were not good. Rubbish and equipment scattered around all over the place, and told me that he did some mechanical work on customers cars on a Saturday. Mmmmmmmmm, prying eyes wanting to know what's under the cover I thinks to myself, and who exactly are these 'customers' in the back of beyond? The killer punch though was when he said he used to store three coaches in there (just), but the fourth one had to stay outside. He decided to call his coaching days over when he came in one morning to find vandals had burnt it out. No security, and reckon I could have broken in there with a pair of pliers and a tin snipper. £450 p.a.? I had to laugh as I drove away. I wouldn't store my car there if he offered it for free!

Nah. Given up on that one now. Sent him a message asking him to confirm it's sold seeing as he seemingly can't be bothered responding ......couldn't help the sarcasm as stuff like this really wicks me off. Common courtesy I think it's called. Sadly lacking nowadays unfortunately.

They never are fellah. They just do NOT understand our passions and desires. Life does NOT begin and end at the gates of bloody B and Q. Meanwhile.................. So sad that you whippersnappers never got to witness the fantastic group B stuff in full competition back in the fantastic 80's. Believe me when i tell you it was spine tingling stuff watching and listening to this and many other PROPER rally cars on full chat and flow in the forests of the UK. I'm one of the privileged old farts that did, and boy did we enjoy it!

I had a fairly young bloke wind his window down whilst stationary at the traffic lights, in his very early Polo to say how nice my Festa looked. :sun: Nice when that happens, and then I get my not so friendly BMC specialist grease monkey telling me that a Mk1 Festa is just an old and undesirable banger, not a classic.

I'm thinking about getting my lickle Eriba Puck caravan wrapped , but don't know if it can be done due to its 'bobbly' finish, so I need a recommendation too.
