Check chrome strips around windows are not coming off Check spiderweb on wheel centers Check for creaking / groaning suspension when driving over speed bumps.... Make sure you use light brake pedal pressure when going over bump

OK Just saying if you are travelling at speed and see a traffic jam in the distance thats not moving have your foot over the brake !

I'm sure some techy will correct me if I'm wrong but I thought the car could not see stationary traffic .... I've never put it to the test !

If your car has ACC it wont have standard cruise as well. I believe it's one or the other. You will get used to it. It's 'Superb' 🙂

No they changed the locking mechanism. Fixed. I assumed the OP has a power tailgate as it's an SE L ?

I was convinced this was the problem with mine. Dealer realigned ... Didnt fix.. Changed boot latch... Didnt fix...

Hi Hamster. Is it actually locking ? Probably going to be a dealer visit... I had problems with mine not locking when it was cold and it took ages to sort. Ended up with the whole locking mechanism changing.

Car been at dealers all day where it was established that yes indeedi the job needs doing.... Guess they didn’t believe my pictures of the error on the Columbus ! Book in again please ... Oh and apparently the stick and mech will be ripped out so I guess not a micro switch change ....
