I'll let you know how it feels when remapped tomorrow Dave! I had a 100hp TDI mk4 ibiza before the fabia, that felt so much better once remapped, hoping the fabia will be the same.

Hello all, newbie from Manchester area here! I'm Sam and drive a fabia VRS bought from RichL-Vrs who is a member here. Had it 3 weeks now, and its having a remap by ecotech performance tomorrow and also a wash and polish before I take it to Wales on monday (been vacumed tonight!). As far as mods go I'm contemplating having either the wheels sprayed a graphite grey colour (on a silver car will look good) or having octavia VRS wheels on it, also coilovers and a light tint to the rear windows. Will post some pics when its all nice and shiney.

You have to twist it when it goes in. I had that problem too, you'll feel it click.
