  1. well the user vRS_Si has managed to get 225 under the standard 17" spider so imguessing the extra 5 mm will be fine looking at his piccys lol only a guess
  2. just to make sure im reading this right. so the brakes fit behind the wheel but the wheel just needs spacing out a little so the rear of the spokes clear the front of the caliper, im shocked that 330's fit behing the vrs wheels
  3. where are you getting them refurbed? do you have a price for it too?
  4. the standard lcr setup or the setup i said? otherwise i would have to disagree with that , but as you rightly said imo
  5. im going for a badger 5 setup of 330x28 2 piece disc's and lcr brembo's, this setup has a few different parts but essentially it all bolts up nicely exactly like the 323 mm setup. on another note can anyone tell me if 17" spiders fit over the badger 5 setup? hope they do
  6. very nice figures, any printouts? im very interested in the pickup of this turbo.
  7. doesnt look like you are having alot of luck really, still they look ok.
  8. post the link here please clive im looking into this too lol
  9. at 50-60 we have a droning noise but any other speed it isnt there i thought about wheel bearings and tyres but the noise goes away when you go faster or slower than 50-60? maybe the same problem as yours then? i have no clue lol
  10. i like this indeed, following with interest
  11. **** clive, least your insured up and are ok, strange enough we went past woking today to get an octavia, spooky :S
  12. so it looks like the audi ecu and wiring loom then, but would the audi loom join up to the octy ? or is it completely different. ideally id like to build the audi engine up while still driving the skoda about, otherwise my car will be of the road for to long :(
  13. i take it no-one knows what is needed then?
  14. ok i am going to be doing a swap consisting of the 225hp 1.8t from a tt for the 150hp 1.8t for the 4x4 octy. easy enough until i thought about it some more....... the inlet manifolds are the other way around so i thought simple ill use the TT wiring loom BUT will it mate with the skoda loom ? plus will a custom coded ecu remap run the skoda ecu on the TT engine or are the ecu connector different. are there any differences between the looms that will cause any problems help please lol:D
  15. thanks for the reply,i didnt actually message you it was someone else and they have now replied too... i have already had a nice chat with jbs and they did mention they could do it but i prefer to have a bash at it myself as thats half the fun for me :really: on a drive with axle stands should be interesting:rofl:
