i tried wrapping in one piece with a hot air gun, would stretch it far enough, then when it cools it pulled itself off the inside of the handle and didnt stay where you wanted it do, basically i think its too much to stretch and stay

there is that thought that i would eventually get to a similar setup as yours as your on spool and boost/ power delivery are perfect imo including the diffs getting the 02m makes sense while everything is out and simpler to achieve and get it working in a more basic setup if i do fit diffs then i will be doing the diesel 6th and more power too, but that is a stage for later on what manifold/downpipe are you onto now? very interested in your full spec, pm me if its easier

parts wise i have a full ko4 engine to fit o2m 6 speed, s3 shifter on the way, got the shafts and prop, stater/ bolts mounts etc BUT have considered going vr6 clutch and g60 flywheel and staying 5 speed cast wishbones and the super pro bushes with SPF3397K and SPF3394K kw v1's in a box brembo 4 pot fronts with 330mm discs rears hopefully sorted a set of 256 vented tie bars im in group buy for so on the way later, comprake ones so will need SPF2540K hunting for r32 arb's FMIC and clive at cntuning has kindly said he will come down to sort my mapping out much lower spec than i wanted originally but once i hunt down a blue haldex it should make for a nice car to drive about in sussing out what bushes for where is confusing a bit but im getting there with all this help :clap:

right then my 4x4 has been off the road for ages now and i have had a few setbacks and things get in the way of me starting it, now i think the time is right and things are good to go. trying to sort out a few things and get my head around some other stuff and straighten out my plan with some suggestions from you lot, i have looked around alot and my mind is all over the place going to fit the cast wishbones from an r32/tt with the part number 8no 407 166/165 so while dropping the subframe might aswell put some nicer bushes in there looking about its suggested that SPF3397K super pro bushes are the items of choice for the wishbones any others needed? what bushes do people swap out for the subframe ones? cupra r? or tt ones? am i missing anything that should be done while its dropped? i have already got steering rack bushes upgraded are there any better top mounts that can be used for my coilovers ? lots of questions here i appreciate hopefully all easy to answer when i get going i suppose a build thread is in order :wonder: cheers guys

so vrs rear callipers are bolt on, and the discs will aswell, if so that was easy!

ok so my 4x4 needs a new rear caliper as its rubbish and i might as well do the discs while im there i understand the vrs discs can be used, 256 vented? are the just bolt on or does the caliper need moving up ? also where or what models can i take rear callipers from, i was going to use r32 stuff but cant find any at the moment and i sold my set a while ago :( cheers guys

just out of interest what is the part number on it, i have a 4x4 and a rack from a vrs and it seems to have the same numbers on it, going to be doing a swap so hopefully its all good

sounds good thanks my engine and box came from a quattro so putting it into a 4x4 i should have the correct parts bar the lines to the master cylinder, i have the shafts, prop, rear diff if needed, gearbox starter clutch and fly i think i have the shifter mech still, all the bolts are there as its 1 unit, ill get a thread going when i get on with it lol cheers guys

where did you get this airless system from for the plastidip? this stuff looks ace

ah so i need cables and changer and the lines to the master cylinder i believe, not too bad then, should be nice and easy to find if needed, wonder how good their clutch's handle 270 hp and whatever lb/ft a stage 2 makes
