Three things which you can try to eliminate the problem: Adjust the cables as they may have stretched over time (the link is somewhere on the site with a video guide) which is a free solution Change the gearbox oil - think its 5quid a litre from the dealer, you'll need 2 bottles. And replace the bottom gearbox bush (dogbone bush) think its 30quid for the powerflex upgrade or 25 for the standard one from the dealer Hope this helps

I can confirm that you need new hubs as I have done it, luckily I managed to get hubs from the classifieds on here. Quite an involving job but well worth it once complete

Dont get me wrong it was very boring and never went over 70. Glasgow to Manchester and back plus a week commuting I was well impressed. I usually will get 600 as the light pings with 65miles left in the tank

I managed to get 52litres in and got 712 miles out of that ( Mapped PD100) doing only motorway miles

Looks good, lots of time and effort has paid off. Personally I would have kept the rear badge and put a Pastyboy retro badge on it :p
