I had a similar problem on Nissan 2.2 TDI when it was new.It turned out to just be a loose pipe connection !! which only took 5 mins to fix .Hope yours is similar. Best uf luck

I have just read an article in Feb 2010 stating the production of the Octavia is to be reduced in March 2010 WWW.AUTOEVOLUTION.COM/NEWS/SKODA-DECREASES-OCTAVIA-S-PRODUCTION-16705.HTML This seems to be at odds with the recent increase in demand, and long lead times.??? Although it does say if demand changes, they may step production .I hope so!!!

Delivery from factory to Uk is normally 2-3 Weeks my dealer said, and yes they have an online tracking system, but is only available to the dealer to access, so you should be getting a call from your dealer soon.I would be in touch with the dealer, and ask them when it is due if I was you.

I have just ordered an Octavia Scout,in Feb/10, and theUK 01/10 brochure shows them as standard on the Elegance, so I don't understand how they can be an extra. Regards Bob Wilson

My name is Bob Wilson I live in Tomatin 15m south of Invernes I have just odered a actavia scout 1st Feb , at he momen I have a XTRAIL Avantura 2007 desided I do not need SVU so the Scout is a good compromise as I do need 4X4 due to snow and Ice we are near 1000 ft up. I find the BRISKODA site Very useful.

I have just ordered a Octavia Scout 1.8 TSI build week 15, so delivery ist week May 2010, (about 12 Weeks).Fortunately I dont mind since my XTRAIL is A1, just do not need a full off roader. but I do need 4X4 ,Looked at the YETI but it has too small a boot. I have noticed lead times seem to be very varied from model to model..
