  1. this thread is comical. Just to throw a spanner into the mix with the 0-60 times, mine was standard the first time it ran 1/4 mile at GTI International with a bootfull of cleaning stuff. 6.58s Having spoken with a few CTR drivers before, the ones I've met seemed to like and rate my Fabia. Each to their own I say, opinions are like ar$eholes, everyones got one!
  2. Had mine on 215/40/17 for a couple of months, no problems
  3. http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/231359-lowering-options-mk2-fabia-vrs/
  4. A powerflow dealer will be able to do it for about £60-80
  5. That's mine quiet when its cruising but louder when giving it some. I didn't want a constant drone and I'm happy with it
  6. If you ever pop into Hertfordshire mate let me know and I'll try and record it
  7. Black pack wasn't an option on the 60 plate cars, mine is 11 plate and I couldn't have it as not avaliable. Looks like someone has just changed the grille. Welcome to the blue and white club
  8. Does anyone have a picture of a Fabia vRS TSi with its front bumper completely removed just showing the front of the car? I looked in the bumper off thread but the bumper blocks the view
  9. Got to say I don't like spacers but they look ace mate!
  10. Powerflow should be able to build you a decat for around £300
  11. Looking at coils for the Fab, weighing up if I need them or not. Did anyone with coilovers on their vRS need to use shorter drop links?
  12. Vredestein Ultrac Sessanta. £85 a corner for 215/40/17 from LoveTyres.com . Really good wet and dry grip, haven't been able to test them in winter yet but in the rain over the past few weeks they have been flawless.
  13. I must of missed where this became about me lol. As previous said, however much George wants to divert opinions, a RR is the only way to see power .
  14. I don't know as I don't bother comparing, my car does what I want and that's what matters to me. OP : If you want to see which has more power get them on the RR, only way to tell.
  15. But your arguement is also floored because there are too many variables for telling which is faster on a normal road. Tyres, driver, cars etc. You're right a RR will only tell you which has more power but it'll be more accurate than trying to pitch two cars against each other on track/road. In the OP's original post he asked if a standard car run in differently can have the same power as a car with a tuning box, a RR will tell you that not a road/track race.
  16. On a private road.... The only way to really confirm who's is faster is on the RR. Realistically there are a lot of variables that will impact road driving
  17. Afraid not Nothing to make the car faster or perform, this is basically a show off thing....
  18. Don't remove the vRS, it's an essential badge
  19. If they sell springs in their accessory catalogue they can't turn round and say they won't cover any warranty caused by said springs, that's absurd! It's like saying, we'll sell you some oil but if it screws up your engine your on your own!
