ive just left skoda after collecting 2 of said bolts costing a total of £4.92 for both inc vat

could be a boost pipe but you tend to hear it resonate when ones popped off but still worth a look! and look at the vacuum control unit see if pipe 6 has come off as this stops t boost aswell. m-davey

my idea is to replace the wishbone mount then i can just take the old one out attatched to the wishbone and cut it off and just replace the bolt
-
i have sheared a bolt that holds my wishbone to the mount so was wondering if anybody knew where i could find a replacement mount and tbh what they are called as everything i try to google search brings up nothing. thanks in advance m-davey

Fabia vRS / Ibiza Consoles with Cupra bushes fitted
m-davey replied to devonutopia's topic in Parts For Sale
do you still have these available as i havr sheared the 18mm bolt that holds my wishbone on so need to replace the entire console but cannot find them anywhere cheers m-davey -
yeah i fitted mine if its your first time fitting simething like this just take your time and make sure you have a full day to do it and spray everything a few days before so its easier to free bolts etc you never know you may even get help from a fellow briskodian.

im lowered on jom coilovers and i habe changed the drop links but it depends how low you want to go i am pretty much all the way down so i needed to change mine. afaik if you go lower than about 40mm you will need to change them and im using mondeo droplinks same as most people cheap as chips at your local car parta place.

Jabba RARB knocking standard exhaust...
m-davey replied to NoSmokeNoPoke's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
i reseated my exhaust and every thing to try and get rid of the knockong and nothing seemed to work i even re fitted the rarb to see if it was that some how. after refitting i would take it for a drive the last time i fitted it i left it all tight but a little loose whilst out for a drive and it was still knocking then when i got back lost my cool tightening the bar to the bottom of the struts and tightend ieach bolt as tight as it would go and then some and guess what knocking had gone so i know its a long shot but tighten the bolts stupidly tight and see if that helps first it worked for me not had a noise since -
well im game if others are maybe a group buy and to make things easier just have one standardised sun strip so everyone looks the same so to speak would be alot easier for whom ever is concerned
-
well im game well for the front anyway already gota sticker at the top of the rear window so couldnt do the rear lol are there any available to buy through briskoda or would it be a case of get one made yourself?
-
we should all get big briskoda stickers or sun strips on the cars then not only do we know to flash we will also know that its a forum member as the briskoda stickers i have seen previously have always been small and practically invisable whilst moving just me 2p worth. m-davey

my bushes have about shot it and ive been looking for replacements. i have found some on ebay made by a company called flo flex. just wondering if anyone has heard of or used any of these? they are poly bushes so i guess they cant be too bad right?
-
last time my pipe had popped off at the intercooler i had exactly the same symptoms as your getting but i could hear the resonance of the pressure echoing as such out of the boost pipe so if you also have that noise then i would guess its a pipe off if not best guess would be the turbo
-
could i have 1st dibs on the drivers seat for a friend im just waiting for him to get back to me cheers m-davey

fill your washer tank and then get someone to pump it you will see it behing the air box on the fire wall if its the one in the engine bay i also believe there is a conection behind the passenger front wheel arch lining but if you keep pumping the screen wash if it is this one you will get it leaking out of the lining saves taking it off for nothing

bit of help needed and something interesting found.
m-davey replied to billy2981's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
as a rough idea i tend to get about another 15lextra in the tank and atm costs around 70-80 to fill both to the brim for empty hope this helps m-davey -
In that case looks like ill go for a bigger blower then map then clutch if it rips itself apart

Sounds interesting dont forget to post pics
