IIRC it was down to the internal ROM storage for the firmware. Happened ages ago, and not worth me looking up on search, the only solution was to buy new/used radio.

Fully aware of that, but it's worth remind people that updates can break their systems. I have sent the correct update before now, for it to reveal a fault in the actual radio, and nothing could fix it.

I have sent you an update to 0480 version to try and stabilise system. But this could be a cable/phone/unit problem.
