  1. Yes there is update to 0490 version
  2. https://procarmanuals.com/pdf-online-vag-ssp-44-extended-maintenance-interval-skoda-octavia/ Take a read of this old PDF, information should still be relevant to today. Pay attention to Page 20, it says that if the car is driven economically and over long distances, then you will probably get the maximum distance. Short journeys and drive like a tool, and you will shorten it down to what is effectively a 1 year fixed. So the car itself will calculate the wear on the oil, and adjust the distance left. @marineboy with 12,700 miles you are clearly driving the car just fine, so you can either change it to a fixed service, or drive until it reaches 0 on either time/distance. My own car is getting the oil changed, and it now has Quantum Long Life being put in, I don't drive much at all, but it will be put on a LL regime, and I will let it calculate when it's next due. Yes, some will argue that if you do low milages you must change it yearly, and they could be correct, there are two sides to this coin, and decision has to be yours.
  3. Some phones can be stupid, and try to use a signal it cannot hold onto. Worth a check and see if you can hack into it, no doubt admin password and login are on back side of this (if you haven't changed anything)
  4. Does your router have a single SSID for the 2.4 and 5.0GHz combined? Can you split them to two SSID's? Can you disable the 5GHz spectrum and see if it's any better with just 2.4GHz radio?
  5. This 100% 🤝 Height can help usually (though mine is on the floor practically it seems ok) Checking that you don't have microwave near/blocking things like fridge freezers etc.
  6. Yes I was just sending PM as you wrote
  7. Yes I do have an update, MHIG_EU_VW_K1550 Version 0407
  8. Already done 🤝
  9. MEN3_EU_SK370_P9494P = 0464 MEN3_EU_SK370_P0113P = 0469 (current) I can send you some updates to try and load, won't know if it will make you S23 work, but worth a try.
  10. It's usually what I recommend to MIB2 upgrades, leave the engine on. Good to know MIB3 can be done in the same way, even if frowned upon by VAG.
  11. Unless your battery is trash, I suspect it will be fine. Make sure to have given the car a good run before, and to turn off everything before you start (fans/heated seats/lights etc) and you would be fine. FAT32 USB Stick, and you just need two folders from the pack "META & DATA"
  12. I only have a MIB2, but the process is fairly straight forward on MIB3 This might give you a basic idea
  13. Yes, my network crashed... moment to send
  14. It's wrong, you need to upgrade to 0308, then to 0324.
  15. Might be an idea to post what version you are running now? Picture is best of the Software Train value.
  16. Nobody feeling brave enough to test the new Skoda 1941 firmware?
  17. Yes a Private Message, on it's way to you now.
  18. Like seen in some of the images above, if you press and hold menu button, sniff about in there until you can see what appears to be a "Software Train" Examples: MOI3_EU_SK_R8960L MOI3_EU_SKMQB_P30400P Cost: Free, apart from time
  19. If your car is under warranty, then if you have issues, best to use dealer. Once out of warranty, you are good to go. And in 99.99% of installs, all goes well.
  20. I happily supply the files needed to do the updates at home. So there is always another way 😉
  21. That's current available version of the firmware, so no update (yet)
  22. This actually helped solve the mystery of a file I see quite a few weeks back. "5FMIBOIRECOVER" Which has this Software String MOI3_RECOV_R9900L And has a version of 1920 which I always thought as odd as it is higher than 1896
  23. MIB Solution is horrifically slow, like dial up Internet days. You are better to wait for someone with the file to send you it. If not, use "Free Download Manager" to open multiple streams on their site.
