  1. Already done, so check now top right
  2. Private message as mentioned to others.
  3. It's on the page you posted, "Service Update button" and a USB stick. I will send you some instruction and links. They have an emergency menu for recovery.. so you would have to have a defective unit for issues. Lots of updates done, and only 2 broke as they had internal problems.
  4. Post an image of your Software Train, we can advise you of what update if any is available.
  5. You can in stages update to 1798 eventually, these updates are sent by Private Message if you want it.
  6. You are best to enter the engineering menu to read the Software Train, in theory yours should read as this... MEN3_EU_SK370_P1185L MU 1760 Which means you can update to 1798 if correct.
  7. SW Train - MEN3_EU_SK370_P3225L MU Version 1798 This is available if anyone is running SW Train - MEN3_EU_SK370_P2345L MU Version 1790 And you wish to upgrade.
  8. I have sent you update, as usually I send these for Pab567. He will come along and answer later when available.
  9. Solved by the community. VAG will be scratching their ..... for at least 6 month's more minimum.
  10. If you missed it, you have a Private Message in top right of screen.
  11. Ok, well the good news is, you can update that to 0369 version. I will respond to the main question in a PM.
  12. Let's see what is installed in your car, press and hold down your Menu/Setup button for about 10 seconds to enter the hidden Engineering menu. Then locate Software Train, and post image of this value seen.
  13. I will send you update to 0490, the screen shown here is where you need to apply update.
  14. DIY, with just an SD Card and about 20-40mins of your time.
  15. You can update firmware to 0480, it might help. Hard to say as no change logs are provided.
  16. So who wants to try loading VW version 1941 🤪 Seems weird that this has happened, the change from SK in the software train to VW.
  17. Interesting addition @SkOmk4 seems they don't mind mixing SK with VW. Which means in at least theory it could upgrade to 1941, though I wouldn't recommend trying this upgrade. What have they done 😧
  18. Mine loves to stick at 1,000 rpm of course, and after a few minutes I will hear the engine note change, though revs are still on 1,000 and will stay there for a long time (I can see it has finished in VCDS logging on exhaust temps. So now when I hear the note, I give throttle a quick blip to 1,200 rpm, a literal blip, and it then idles back instantly to 800. Yes something is sticking, but I have to fix clutch before looking into this problem. If you have laptop and VCDS cable, try to log temperature of exhaust after a run, and then when you hear engine note change and temps begin to drop, then try to blip throttle.
  19. Two tips now, I need a 3rd now.
  20. You can update to 0308, then onto 0324 as it's a two stage process. I will send you links in a moment.
  21. I have seen this release land a few weeks back "MOI3_RECOV_R9900L" that is a tiny file, version 1920. But I have no information on what it is for, but the filename is not looking good! I am wondering if there has been some errors I am not aware of yet, that has caused trouble we are yet to encounter. It could be the OTA update that has changed the Software Train from SK to VW for a few people.
  22. Don't rush, more for curiousity sake to work out what VAG are up to with their OTA's. Seems odd he has a VW value in a Skoda 🤔 TIA
  23. As you are here @TheWanderer and you are running 1900, can you dig out your Software Train value from your Engineering menu (10 second press on Menu iirc) Just wanted to know if yours reads SK for Skoda or VW for VW of course. As @Andy585 is showing a VW value on his.
  24. The dealer should be able to do this, but it's a few steps as you have seen, this could indicate the level of dealer (in)competence at that location. The write up has been excellent, and you should then just get someone to enter activation codes once you do the donkey work of updating to 0324. Let the newborn come into this World (congratulations for the day) and tackle this problem as and when.
