  1. Second warning has just come on at 10600 miles with 1500 miles to go. I'd forgotten all about Adblue. Must check out now the cheapest refill bottle.
  2. 40 years ago I remember watching my neighbours son helping to wash his fathers lovely sports car. He dipped his sponge in the puddle on the drive before rubbing the sides of his car....
  3. Yes. Yes. and Yes (I'm pretty sure.) The box doesn't fit with the raised boot floor/spare wheel.
  4. The SEL is highly specced with leather and the really excellent xenon headlights . The only extra I added to my SEL was the reversing camera for £300 ,excellent. I re-fitted the spare wheel from a previous yeti (I wouldn't be without a spare, but that's probably psychological and my age.) The yeti is very short and has an excellent turning circle. I wouldn't bother with front parking sensors,or a heated windscreen again (I had them all in a previous L&K...Would you really need that in Oxfordshire?) Take a long test drive....Enjoy.
  5. Good luck with your new asx Let us know how you get on in the future
  6. We used to have neighbours whose hallway had purple walls and a black ceiling. It used to make me duck when I walked in.
  7. Have you tried Blackcircles website for your crossclimates? They will deliver to an approved fitter near to you for a very competitive inclusive price.
  8. I'll bet following traffic love following you at less than 10 mph. I once owned a honda accord with very low factory Sports suspension. It always grounded over the works 5 mph car park speed bumps. I discovered one day, when I was late for work, that if I drove over them at much higher speeds it didn't ground at all. I fixed the problem by selling the car...
  9. Anyone else think it was rather odd that Lewis lined up pointing to the left for the start? Then Vettel drove up through the gap on the start.
  10. +1. I watched the video far longer than I intended just to listen to it. TR6?
  11. I've had 2 yetis that I've rotated dunlop sp01's on with no problems at all ( at around 10,000miles.) Though with 4 wheel drive there was only about 1mm of difference front to back.( It just meant that at part exchange time I didn't have to buy new tyres.) I think in future anyone trying to replace sp01's might find it difficult as they are very old design tyres with very poor fuel economy ratings.
  12. So when I park the car and the hand brake "comes on",and I leave it in the airport carpark does it fail on or off ? When I leave my car for any long time I always leave the handbrake off. Are there any users out there who leave their car for weeks at a time ,in icy/salted road weather, with the electronic handbrake on? (because how the **** do you get it off again.)
  13. We saw him live many years ago in Cleethorpes. What he got Grimsby Trawler crew to do on stage was unforgettable.
  14. The new michelin climates or Nokian weatherproof, lots of reviews about.
  15. They're the big hooks in the boot, that roadtesters say you can hang your take away curry bags on, so they don't spill all over the floor.
  16. Quick edit: I've just looked on Honestjohn and there's a picture of a spacesaver under the boot floor.(2WD only though) On the specs lists it looks like the 190PS 4x4 will be DSG only. The 150 tsi manual 2WD with ACT looks interesting though...
  17. A couple of deep slow breaths, then say in your Head. God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change. Courage to change the things I can, and the Wisdom to know the difference. Repeat as necessary. (You can replace the word God with anything you like, but I wouldn't recommend JD's or Medication.)
  18. No curry hooks or Slide/Remove rear seats . I'll bet there's no Spare under the boot floor either. Maybe I'll wait for the Kodiaq-a-like Yeti ll after all.... (SWMBO will have the foot waggle rear hatch though.)
  19. Very Sad..."Not a lot".... RIP .
  20. A puny 1.7 litre engine and the usual 12/13 second 0-60 ,and mediocre in gear performance. Where's the performance?
  21. What Charlie said in 1940 was very valid ,but now with the elephant in the room of gross over population ........
  22. My old Mini did it all by itself!
  23. I'd be looking at option 2, and then a new 0%,free service ,etc, deal on a new Citigo to your Spec. New Citigos (let alone secondhand ones.) depreciate a lot.... We handed back my Son's Citigo 5 door elegance last year (with good extras and very low mileage.)because it's value was well below the final payment valuation after nearly 3 years.
  24. Re-reading the articles, the 2.0 litre engines come with dual clutch transmissions as standard. The vehicle has a"low slung driving position like a Sedan". Definitely not for me then. It will be interesting to see how much it would cost when specced up to Skoda SEL level......
