  1. I am yes I’m just going to have to get some facelift vw up front wings to delete the side repeaters, as I’d be gaining the mirror indicators
  2. I finally got my rear wiper delete on after not having it on there since I’ve had the car, the rears going to change abit more eventually with a gti rear bumper and then facelift citigo rear lights. I debadged the rear a while back with the gloss black Skoda badges added
  3. Yes gti are 288mm standard are 256mm with integral carriers so can’t go bigger without the hubs. There’s a company on eBay that sells all the bits for conversion
  4. Are you fitting gti brakes too?
  5. Brought myself some Christmas pressies, some bilstein b12 shocks and Eibach springs combo, and some forge goodies for the engine, going to see if I get a chance to do the suspension soon if the weather stays mild, and if the gti brakes clear the alloys
  6. Stern performance rear seat delete kit fitted
  7. Sneak peek at stern performance rear seat delete kit

  11. Couldn’t keep the shell as it’s a cat b had to be scrapped. I’ve got the complete wiring loom front to back
  12. Today was the day for stripping the doner cat b I purchased All in all very pleased the rad pack was unfortunately bent and beyond saving but engine and box look good, I just need one driveshaft at some point To this
  13. Cheers all, should be a big update next week weds as I’m getting the up gti doner, plans are to swap bits over but to keep her running as is over winter then early next year I’ll be swapping the engine box wiring etc
  14. I’ve made a thread now cheers for reply’s
  15. Some more pictures of the seats, I’ve made them plug and play with airbag connectors, the passenger occupancy sensor was swapped over to inside the TT base, and seat belt buckles also fitted from the citigo seats. the TT mk1 seats i have fit before into a mk1 Fabia so remembered they were thinner then the usual late vag fitment. I will get them retrimmed at some point but we’re a bargain for £80
  16. Also added under bonnet insulation that comes on the e-up, I love also since drilled the other two holes that the citigo bonnet doesn’t have and fitted the other two clips
  17. Inside I’ve insulated pretty much everywhere although will add some more foam under carpet when all interior comes out again, added a rcd 215dab retrofit, front feelart speakers and a pillar tweeters added with gloss black up trims and Octavia mk3 vrs steering wheel and Audi TT front leathers. Rear will have a stern performance rear seat delete with brace and netting it’s on order
  18. Updated the exterior with Monte Carlo 15” alloys which will hopefully clear gti brakes, Black mirrors Monte Carlo grill black superskoda Skoda badges front and rear
  19. I’ve got lots of information I’ll try not to ramble too much, long term this is going to be a citigo with full up gti kit, engine, 6speed box, brakes, suspension etc. Ive wanted to make one for a few years and up gti prices are very strong so not hugely viable, however I’ve had a right result and purchased a 68plate cat b up gti with 18k on clock and no intrusion into engine bay , some pics of the citigo when I brought her a couple of months back 62plate se spec with 72k on clock, lovely eBay wheel trims 😂
  20. Ah okay I get you, i know I probably would and that briskey is not like it used to be, but I do like it here Great cheers, I just miss half my stuff I do on there haha
  21. Cheers for reply’s guys, just for info I’ve done many conversions before, this will basically be a citigo body with up gti everything else bar seats and wheels I’ve already purchased a smashed up gti 😜, and I’ve had the citigo a couple of months now
  22. You must have misread, I’m meaning will people want to read the build thread, I’m putting all up gti gear into a citigo,
  23. Any interest in me doing a build thread on here for my conversion of a citigo to up gti running gear? I know there’s not a lot of traffic in here anymore. But if a few people are genuinely interested I will start one. I know a lot of people ask about it but generally don’t go any further, I only know of one other running a gti engine but with original box, and no citigos as far as I’m aware, obviously with the exception of a few bigger engines going in them
