  1. Good stuff they are pretty good as they are :). What colours your Monte as I’ve only ever seen one on ring road
  2. Fitted the mirror caps yesterday was too dark for pics so have a couple today, they don’t look too bad
  3. Also picked up an exhaust for when I stick the engine in, was a prototype from direnza and only used for a few hundred miles, was too quiet for its previous owner. Which is good for me as I don’t want stupid loud
  4. Fitted the trims was getting a little dark, fit is pretty good but could probably do with some spray adhesive too, I added extra double sided tape to the stuff that was on it already I’ll see how well it holds. before after
  5. Skoda-tuning.com it’s in German but they deliver to U.K. just search citigo and you will find them
  6. Got a few little bits to fit, some fake carbon mirror caps only as they were cheaper then buying one black one lol and also some boot trims to get rid of the bare metal back there, something it should have had from factory How a normal citigo boot looks
  7. bottoms original obviously a lot more wires in new one as it gains electric heated mirrors with built in indicators too, and the double switch. Im sure it could be worked out with wiring diagram
  8. The central locking still works but windows do not, must be a few wires in different places coming out the door. Obviously not a major issue for me as I’ll be changing the rest of loom to match in a month or so
  9. Both sides manual adjusters, caps were both new in October off the rock up, and immaculate still one outer black plastic cover has a slight gap at bottom but doesn’t affect anything, and not noticeable once fitted Located york £100 pair or £60 each
  10. Made a start on sorting the door wiring looms. the standard citigo only comes with single electric window switch and manual mirrors. the up has the facelift mirrors with integrated indicators, electric and heated. and the double window switch with a nice brushed ally handle on the trim. Standard door so stripped the door open to remove old loom and refit the gti looms as you can see a much more substantial loom with loads more wires Finished product just needs a good clean only had one good mirror from doner hence the blue other side. Was surprisingly hard to find an electric and heated one. I’ll change caps shortly when I find one
  11. Anything’s possible yes I’ve got the under seat oem amp to power it once I change interior loom, but to get it running in another car I imagine would be a knightmare, there are plenty of powered spare wheel subs that will do a better job and be easier to fit. I’m only fitting this as it’s going to be plug and play and the small size of the citigo should be more then enough
  12. They do but on a citigo you lose the rear fog and the wires need changing configuration, as it’s in the bumper on the ups the fog, lots of guides and some have fitted a red bulb to act as fog into these. There is a plug and play loom on eBay but you would still need to sort a fog or swap back to original for mot, which takes two mins. guide here https://www.upownersclub.co.uk/threads/how-to-install-facelift-rear-lights-onto-an-original-up.12336/ same process for citigo They do but on a citigo you lose the rear fog and the wires need changing configuration, as it’s in the bumper on the ups the fog, lots of guides and some have fitted a red bulb to act as fog into these. 13. Also finally found a drivers side facelift electric and heated mirror so I can get cracking on changing the door looms and fit the facelift mirrors as they have indicators built in too. And it gives me the double electric window switches and electric mirrors
  14. Been having a test fit of the forge goodies I brought
  15. Stick them on Facebook I’ve seen them go as high as £800
  16. Few little bits today, boot struts swapped boot seal swapped rear speakers fitted beats spare wheel sub and tool kit put in, And the boot trim with light obviously not wired in but when I run the new loom will all be plug and play
  17. Yeah I’ve seen the tyres debates lol only had three good ones so sold them on straight away as they get good money
  18. You can do it with the bumper on but is easier to remove it, just clips in
  19. Cheers, the tsi is not common over here either just got really lucky with the gti. Tsi will still be as good power wise just with the 5 speed gearbox and not 6
  20. Finished the suspension off, gave her a quick blast around block and alls well, still seems a nice ride I’ll get some more miles in her this week and report back, nice subtle drop
  21. Made a start on front suspension, got both sides stripped an n/s refitted just run out of daylight again as weathers not been great, hopefully finish it at weekend
  22. I just brought a whole car that was written off
  23. there’s a company that does rear disc conversions https://theupgrade.haus/products/rear-disc-brake-conversion-kit beams are the same all drums the only place I’ve seen you can get the fronts from are a kit on eBay. But if your not upping power plenty of decent pad/disc combos for the standard 256’s ebay link front kit https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/144114379107?fits=Model%3AUP!&hash=item218de2e963:g:L10AAOSwbDthBkQK
  24. Made a start on rear brakes/suspension swapped it all over as it’s nearly seven years newer. hub/bearing, backing plate shoes etc. fitted some darkside 12mm axle spacers I brought a while back, and fitted up one side with the bilsteins and Eibach springs, test fit the wheel over the brakes it is tight but a few mm clearance from the wheel weights to caliper. I wonder if they do slimline wheel weights. It does turn without catching anywhere which is good
  25. It will be for me as I’ll be changing complete loom so mirror will plug in off the door loom, otherwise you could probably extend the wires from wing round into the door.
