  1. Didnt unplug the box, only re-routed pipework really. Couldnt tell you about the guage, maybe somebody else could answer that. Ive jut been for a drive and i didnt notice any different, apart from the sound is crisper and a bit quieter.
  2. I copied this one. http://www.seatcupra.net/forums/showthread.php?t=301285&highlight=n249 See post 17 for the diagram i used.
  3. I have only bypassed it, not removed the whole system. I found a guide off SCN and followed that. 1/ Took off pipe from FPR 2/ Attach silicone hose to fpr straight to take off on DV 3/ Cut silicone and insert 'T' piece 4/ Attach pipe that goes from inlet to the 'T' piece 5/ Block off pipe that originally went to the top of the DV
  4. Well ive just done it, after putting it off for weeks it took literally 3 or 4 miniutes. The dv sounds much crisper now, almost like a chatter? :| I have taken from the fpr and just T'd this to the dump valve, this is right isnt it? Also if your planning on doing it be gentle when trying to get the 'one use' clip off the fpr! I bent the nipple slightly but no drama.
  5. I would also be interested in exchange for beer tokens! Depending on where you live obviously.
  6. Dont know that was the point of this thread really Also for people to post pics if they have anything similar/the same.
  7. Does anybody have the weitec springs and shocks fitted? or anything similar? Im looking to order it soon but i want to see how the car will sit first before i make any decisions.
  8. I had this problem when I bought mine, it was the CTS, get a haynes manual if your unsure. Its only a 2 miniute job
  9. Thats excluding VAT and postage, but yea id guess that they were the same.
  10. Apparently they are about £38 from Seat now, the price went up a few weeks ago according to SCN.

  17. Yea I'd like to know aswell. I just cannot justify spending 700-800 on one People have said in other threads they have got the forge one a lot cheeper, I donk know how though.
  18. Can you remember which one you bought? there are about 3 or 4 that look very similar.
  19. The plan is to go stage 2 though, and thats why i wanted to go for a front mount.
  20. After searching and reading a few threads, ive seen people saying they can get the forge for £450-£500 direct from forge? How are you doing this?lol. The price on their website is £715 (i think) Is it just a case of phoning them and negotiating or have you guys got some inside contact?
  21. Can you remember which exact kit you bought? Or do you hav a link? There are a few different kits on there.
  22. How easy was it to fit? and how long did it take? Was it a straight fit or did it need modifying? Thanks for the quick reply!
  23. I really want/need a FMIC for my VRS. However there is no way i am spening £700+ on a Forge/ pro alloy item. I know people will say you get what you pay for etc. But i just cannot believe how expensive these are. So if anybody has anything else, what it it? The other option is wait for a second hand forge/ pro alloy intercooler to pop up, but im guessing this dosent happen very often? Thanks Ryan
  24. Ive been looking at various reps on ebay, some are obviously bad copies. If anybody has any decent ones could you post a link to which ones you bought, or where ever you got them from? Its the silver ones im after. Thanks Ryan
