I have just noticed that I might be missing something... :( As you can see from the pictures, I don't have the vertical textile... mats?/pieces? (on the boot side of the wheel arches) in my boot... On the left: And on the right: Also is missing the boot storage compartment "A", as stated in the manual: Is it because of the spare wheel presence? Can someone with one check that? I know these are not important part, but anyway, the bad feeling stays And I'm just coming back from the dealer, he said that they all come like that (maybe for Bulgaria, or from now on...), I also checked one demonstrator and it was like that (naked). If it's a spare part to be ordered, can someone with ELSA check for part ID? BR, Boyan

Have couple of questions for those who are further down the Yeti road: 1) I want to ask those of you who have fitted the transverse roof rack if thay have gone for this option: (the original Skoda accessory) or some after-market. Also if the front bar can be moved next to the back one, in order not to obstruct the view from the sunroof (like on some other SUVs). 2) which short aerial have you chosen? any drawbacks noticed? the o-ring solution, or some heat-shrinking tube? 3) for the extra boot light, have someone found a way to piggy-back the second one? As most of you might have expected, I'm more than happy with my Yeti. Just did my first 500km and it's fabulous!!! 1,8 TSi engine is just wow! Just wanted to mention couple of things that I was unaware of: 1) It has a gear assistant - shows on which gear I'm and on which I should be! 2) It shows full AC info on the radio display (Swing) - my friend's Superb cannot do that 3) It's Ambition spec, not Experience, but it has the storage compartment under the passenger seat. 4) the net under the parcel shelf accessory comes with a zipped compartment which lays over the parcel shelf, (for that I'm not happy, but I can live with it) Regarding winter tires - I put Conti Viking Contact 5 (CVC5) 215/60/R16 (same size as summer ones), but no snow here for now, so I cannot give you opinion about the handling on snow. One question - can someone give opinion what should be the settings for the radio (4+4 speakers setup), because it's messed up from the service (everything is on +6). Hint: mainly for ROCK. BIG update this time - my Yeti is here! Yesterday the dealer called me and today I paid them a visit, just to make sure everything is OK - and it seems so! I was worried about the sunroof, but it's there, I've touched it. )) Everything was covered in white plastic so I couldn't play a lot, but everything seems fine. Unfortunately I'm off for a trip to Barcelona so I'll pick it up next week... can't wait So, to sun everything up - it took exactly 67 days from order to delivery, with sunroof & lots of extras for ~17k GBP P.S. It's with the new RRP, with the plastic engine shield.

Strangely, in Bulgaria the 'Adventure pack' consists of Maxidot, Cruise control, Rear Parking sensors, Alarm system, free Metallic paint... I opted for it, even it's not much of an "adventure"

Today I the dealer confirmed again that it will be build week 44... NEXT WEEK! )) Fingers crossed that the sunroof will be present as well Also he told me that delivery should be within 3 weeks, and they can give me the VIN number as soon as they load the vehicles for shipping. I'm sooooooo anxious... At least reading the forum makes the time pass by faster

As of today the build week is confirmed by the dealer to be 44. The order was made on 09.09 (wk36), with sunroof & lots of extras... I'm confused if the dealer is not honest with me, or it could be possible.

Hi, Anyone else considering or already ordered that? Decorative exhaust pipes Oddly (for me, at least), it states that it's only available for 1,2 TSi and 2,0 TDi. As I opted for 1,8 TSi, I don't get it why it is not possible for this engine... maybe it's only for single-pipe exhaust systems?

Small update - just called the dealer and he checked in the system about my order - and build week is set to 44 (didn't specified the year though ). He said that since last week the delivery times are longer (for Yeti, Fabia Combi and something else, didn't listen that carefully), but he was not aware of delivery problems related with sunroof...

Even if the dealer was not aware of such delay (as I have said, I specifically told him what I know from this forum for delays related with the sunroofs, he checked and said "No, there is no such thing, 120 at most, but we still leave 90 days in the contract"), I don't want to go check with him again - I definitely want the sunroof anyway so I'll wait as long as needed, and I also don't want them to change the contract with more realistic date - in this way at least the penalties will start earlier and they will have stimulus to push things more.

That will be a really bad scenario... Even the penalties could not make up for such a long wait.

I know, sounds impossible, I just have my fingers crossed At least there will be penalties for the dealer if they don't make it in 90 days as stated in the contract, so maybe some more extras

My thoughts exactly! (however they come to me only after seeing the SM, before that I was amazed by Mitsubishi and Nissan's sunroofs)

@ EdmundBlackadder: Yes, I did test drives with all cars (Mitsubishi ASX 1.8 DI-D, Nissan Qashqai+2 2.0 petrol, Skoda Yeti 1.8 petrol). The ASX was pretty good, for me it is the sexiest among these three , but as many people have said, the Yeti look grew in me. Anyway I was going for the 1.6 petrol ASX (not available for TD), but was afraid how it will behave with only 117 horses under the hood. Also slightly more expensive (relatively the same equipment). Without 4x4 for that price.. I miss the USB though :( The Qashqai+2 is almost identical, the two seat in the back (+2) are almost useless. No 4x4 for that price. The dealer was horrible, just horrible. The headroom for the backseat is quite small. The Yeti had the roughest test drive - raining, bad roads - it handled perfectly. It's the most spacious cabin definitely. Most extras for that price. Plus 4x4! Also the sunroof opens! @900000: After reading your forum, I was afraid of the same, but I really wanted the sunroof - so I specifically asked the dealer about that. He said that there is no such thing (he also checked by the phone) so he put in the contract the standard 90 days, saying it will be here probably for ~70. Hope he's right!

Hi guys, I've been reading your forum for some time silently (now I know more for Yeti than my dealer for sure) and I want to thank you for making me made my decision (towards Yeti, of course ). The forum is great, with lots of useful information and pictures that I could not find anywhere else (especially from Skoda). Maybe it's because I've gathered that much information and opinions I decided to go with the SnowMonster instead of Nissan Qashqai+2 and Mitsubishi ASX. So I just made the plunge - ordered 1.8TSI 4x4 Adventure Black Magic pearl effect, with whole lot of extras (sunroof, HHC, off-road assist, rear parking sensors, climatronic, light assist, Swing and.. maybe all of the small extras). Now the countdown begins - 90 days... Wish me luck! BR, Boyan
