Ps, this is Fabokas fault for not taking Jamie's money and remapping it :p
-
So either way, it isn't good....
I do have a laptop with vcds, it's just naff!
I guess it's up to Jamie now to do what he thinks is best.
-
That's all I done, I was just checking the max pressure that's all.
I recorded it to look over so might help people.

mines alright..
It does what's needed but nothing more. The newer sat navs are just alot better that's all.

What other radios will fit my Fabia?
Was thinking Columbus...
-
Yeah, that's the one.
It flashes on for a second when you put it in reverse but since it's got no sensors plugged in it goes straight off.

I got mine from eurocarparts

Bosch aero flat blade, every single time.

Not sure of the name, just a standard thing, nothing fancy. Will check what's writen on the front tomorrow.
Doesn't matter that much, if changing to a different radio will show the sensors that's fine, I'll be upgrading to a decent satnav unit soon.

Needed the paint code for my Fabia when finding replacement parts so went to the boot and lifted up the floor and found the full wiring loom for parking sensors, but no sensors plugged in.
I'm going to get the sensors and fit them in the Monte Carlo bumper that's currently fitted but just wanting to check what other people's do.
My girlfriends new golf show up on the radio with the distance etc but my older mk1 Fabia they just beep.
What will my 2008 Fabia 3 do when I wire them in?
Thanks

I've just read some rummors saying that Polo 9N maxidot board would perfectly fit into the Fabia mk1 instrument cluster component, which sounds pretty good. The downside is that the immo might be a pita if not disabled. Has any body tried this?

Pretty sure it's just as rare on the polo isn't it?

There's a full front end from a green vrs for sale on eBay. That'll make it a fl
indeed, its less than 5 mile from me, first results on ebay, however at over £750 im not paying it, the parts are damaged and the wrong colour
I have... a replacement Monte Carlo front bumper, replacement wing and drivers headlight. so only need a bonnet and passenger headlight.
-
I see factory ones every now and then.
Finding the right one however will be a different matter, a one in the colour you want, with other options you want, with the right history you want, the right mileage for you and to be local

If it wasnt clear enough already... no going back now! :sun:

didnt release you were just down the road.
will the grilles fit facelift or pre-facelift?
-
Im just simply passing the information on.
-
Thanks, yeah thats right.
im struggling to find any of the parts i need "used" so might have to just buy new replacments from the dealers.

They have remapped it to 1.75 bar on a mild map due to the lack of a FMIC and drawing in warm air from the s2000 filter, it was 22degrees the day of the remap so temps was an issue.
-
Thanks for that.
I'm struggling to find a Monte Carlo facelift headlight... As well as a bonnet!
Sorted all other parts out.
I'll upload some pictures when I get a chance.

Yeah, in Jamie's defence, he shopped around and went to the best place we could find. Big Fish have a good name around the north east and is a big place, been going for years.
They have remapped a few of my other friends cars in the past and have been fine.
The plan was to get John to remap it but since he's stopped we had no other option.

Thanks, I'm over the moon with them really, look brand new again!
Friday's my day off so the long weekend helps!
