As the Dukes would say - Sell, sell, sell.
I handed my superb back in July, just stuck the reg into WBAC and the valuation was £3,360 more than it was in June.. nuts..

Interior bulb swap out to LED
Hi, Has anyone swapped out all the interior bulbs for LED versions? Coming from a Sportline Superb to the SE-L Kodiaq, I miss the led interior lights.. roof lights, footwell lights.. also is there the option to add door / puddle lights??
-
OK - I reckon I am in for another Kodiaq - Likely Sportline - but diesel again or a switch to petrol?
Not just the same, but I changed at the start of July from a 2.0T 220BHP Superb sportline to the 1.5Tsi 150 bhp Kodiaq.. Due to lockdown I had never actually driven a kodiaq or a 1.5l engine.. I was worried about the loss of power and moving to a bigger car. But I can say after 2k miles it's been great.. it has enough power driving about and tows our caravan with no issues..

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Aye, saw that.. may pop back up on here...

SE-L vs Sportline
I went for the SE L as the sportline just pushing the monthly price up too much.. not exactly the same, but coming from a meteor grey superb sportline I was worried about the SE L lacking the sporty feel inside.. but having had the SE L for just over a month it's great. I don't miss the steering wheel, larger infotainment or black headlining.. I agree about the 1/2 leather.. never too hot or cold.. Kodiaq is a big lump for meteor grey.. I went for quartz grey and really like it.. would prob go for black in a sportline for that Darth Vader look..

Wireless android auto connection
Great, got that and then it seemed to connect wirelessly. Only thing is it's trying to use the Skoda hotspot for data which isn't enabled.. is there a way to get it to use my phone like it does when plugged in?

Wireless android auto connection
Thanks, how do I do that?

I'm trying to get this to work with my Huawei P20 Pro running Android 10.. Will it work or does it need to be Android 11?

Is there a boot liner for when the 7 seats are up?
I've had the Kodiaq a few weeks now, just to note that the boot no longer comes like that.. it's just the back of the carpet on the underside.. maybe another one of the "simply clever" cost cutting ideas in 21 models..

Sportline 280-JB4+catback dyno run
I got the lend of a racechip tuning box and installed in it my 2.0T 220bhp for a short while.. took it to a local rolling road and it put out 289bhp and 350 Lb/ft.. I run on super unleaded also..

Not another Meteor grey!! - Sportline 2.0T DSG Combi
Well, it went back today.. So I'm now over in the kodiaq forum.. :-) The Kodiaq seems great so far, although down a bit on power (70bhp).. As I've said before, I really had no issues with the superb at all in 37 months and 37.5k.. two oil changes, one set of front tyres and a set of rear discs.. Start stop button replaced under warranty.. very uneventful.. Fantastic car, loads of space and lots of poke. lots of comments.. even when I put my last bit of fuel in last week the cashier commented on the colour. the assessor from BCA commented that there was not a ding or dent on the car.. which with 3 kids is pretty impressive.. I have a few bits and bobs to sell from the kodiaq, so may stick them in the classifieds. - rear tunnel cover, skoda door lights, boot liner, tow bar hitch, umbrella tray thingy for the boot.

What have you done to your Superb III today?
No, 220bhp.. Well specced too.. It was basically Sportline Plus spec. I got it with 9.2 Columbus, front sensors, heated seats, electric boot and spare wheel. Added a detachable towbar too.. It's gone and all now.. Fella said it would be in the auctions next week and the dealers would go mad for it.. Will keep an eye out and see what it goes for sale for.. I know, although 3 rows stops the kids from hitting each other.. LOL..

What have you done to your Superb III today?
Superb has been fantastic and hasn't put a foot wrong in 3 years and 37k... The buy back was £17,320.. which I suppose isn't bad.. but 3 growing kids means more space.. so a Kodiaq has replaced it.. In 37k it has had 2 oil changes, a set of front tyres and a set of rear pads.. in once to have the start button replaced, but that's it.. literally a superb car.. I had wanted a VRS when I was looking, drove both but the superb is a massive jump in equipment.. auto handbrake, adaptive cruise, kessy.. 9.2 columbus..
-
What have you done to your Superb III today?
TBH it was cheaper to lease a new Kodiaq than try and keep and finance a 3 year old car which is now out of warranty.. growing family means more space required..

Škoda approved towbar ?
I fitted an aftermarket one to my sportline on PCP.. no issue at all. I just rang and they sent me an approval letter while I was on the phone.. Mine was £450 for detachable..

2018 Edition Vs 2021 SE L - I may be changing 'down' a spec.
I got my 21 SE L yesterday, I can confirm that none of the above are standard.. I added adaptive cruise as I used it all the time on my Superb.. I also prefer 1/2 leather as they never get too cold or too hot in winter & summer compared to leather

Virtual cockpit?
The VC looks great and I love my gadgets but it's not something I could justify just for a bit of a play. I generally use google maps with Android Auto and I believe it's only the built in Sat Nav that works with the VC.. @KeithOwenget that dashcam wire tidied up.. I got my Kodiaq yesterday and will fit the dash cam when I get a chance.. I had one in my Superb which I hard wired into the fusebox..
