  1. Agree that they look the best and wouldn't change them..
  2. I do find the 19's quite harsh in the sportline.. so much so that I got skoda to check the shocks for transport stops being left in..
  3. I ordered a SE L 1.5tsi last week, they are saying mid July for delivery.. So we will see. Salesman has set a reminder for two weeks to see if he can confirm the build date.. My superb is due to go back at the start of June.. I've ordered the kodiaq without ever driving or sitting in one... I'm sure it will be fine.. LOL
  4. It was TowbarsNI..
  5. I'm in Northern Ireland (Belfast) and got my detachable one fitted to my 2018 Sportline a couple of years back.. it was £450 inc vat.. might be worth your while making the trip especially with the euro.. obviously waiting till Covid restrictions end.. But they are open for business as I spoke to them on Friday about fitting one to a Kodiaq.
  6. Car looks great, what colour is this??
  7. to be honest, it's cheaper to lease a new one than pay off £17k over 4 year 9 months at the same monthly cost on finance.. Shouldn't be any damage charges and the excess mileage will only be a couple of hundred quid..
  8. Just as a quick update.. Rang VWFS this morning and got my buy back figure.. £17,350.. to be honest I was expecting it to be a good bit cheaper than that.. what do you think of it? June 2018, Superb Sportline 2.0 Tfsi 220bhp DSG, meteor grey with front sensors, heated front seats, electric boot and spare wheel.. 33k on it..
  9. I'm sure you'll miss it.. What are you replacing it with?
  10. Nothing has changed much in the past 2 years 9 months... It's due to go back on the 4th June this year, and actually just turned 33333 yesterday.. so I'm slightly over my 10K a year agreement.. I can ring VWFS next Friday and see what my buy back figure is.. realistically I doubt I would buy it.. for no other reason than it's prob the same monthly figure to lease a new car than pay it off on finance (out of warranty etc) I'm now looking at a Kodiaq's as my 3 kids are just getting bigger and we really could do with 7 seats.. In my ownership I have serviced it once and put a set of front tyres on it.. It's been into Skoda once to get the ignition switch replaced.. but that's it.. really has been nearly 3 years of hassle free motoring... I will miss the 2.0T 220bhp though.. :-(
  11. Hi Sasha, I remember seeing your posts and mods on the Octy, congrats on the DK Superb.. Have you a link to the parts needed for the virtual pedal?
  12. Good stuff, Skoda is the thinking man's Audi.. bigger, better specced and cheaper..
  13. I would say wrapping is prob your best bet.. that or else spray with plastidip. never tried it, but there are plenty of YouTube videos on it..
  14. That's a cracking deal there.. I'm in NI, but normally my local dealer will match most deals.. with them being shut at the minute it's hard to get quotes..
  15. Coming from the Superb sportline I would love a Kodiaq in the same trim, but the leasing costs are literally £100 more per month for the sportline, something I cannot justify.. I have columbus in the superb at the minute, so i'm sure i'll miss it.. along with chrome pedals perforated steering wheel and all the other "trick" sportline items..
  16. Hi all, I coming to the end of my current lease (Mk3 Superb 2.0Tsi 220bhp Sportline) and although it's been fantastic over the last 3 years and 33k, I'm thinking that we really need a 7 seater to cope with the growing family - 3 kids - 3, 9 & 12... Looking at lease options and the SE L seems to be the best of the bunch.. I know I will miss things from the sportline, but the kodiaq in this model is just too dear.. The SE L comes pretty well specced with 1/2 leather seats with heated fronts, F&R parking sensors, electric boot (all of options which I added on my current MK3 superb).. I have been playing with the configurator and have based it on a 2.0 TDi 150BHP SE L - black with the following options - Adaptive cruise, silver roof rails (I think they go well with the front grill and window surrounds).. I will be fitting a towbar and can get this done locally for £450 as I did on my superb.. So I can't see the benefit of paying nearly £1k through skoda.. Anything else I should add? I know previously adding traffic light recognition allowed some enabling of other items with VCDS, but I belive that the MY20 cars are a lot more locked down.. Also I can only add TSR as part of a pack..
  17. Just found this thread and did this for my superb (2.5 years old) after watching the video.. took 30 secs.. I don't want to think what shape it would of ended up in without the video. Cheers
  18. I have had a Superb sportline estate for nearly 3 years, fantastic car and suitable for 3 kids, bikes, dog etc.. I always tell people it's the thinking mans German car.. The SEL is bound to be far better specced than a 3 series. adaptive cruise, larger infotamment etc etc.. I've never been a BMW fan and even the ridiculous price of run flat tyres is enough to put me off..
  19. Thanks for this.. just popped on tonight as my superb has started doing this.. at first I thought I wasn't hitting the button right, but the wife has said the same thing.. mines 28 months old with 30k on it.. will ring the dealer and book it in..
  20. Do you have a link to the exhaust tips?? did they bolt on or did you get them welded?? Looks great
