Hi all got a mk1 vrs fabia and its noisey untill u put the clutch in, then is quiet agen, the clutch doesnt slip atal, and performance isnt affected will this be just the thrust bearing, and be ok to just replace this, with say the clutch as its out? Im not to clued up on the dual masd flywheel side of things, also if the cars sat on idle with lights on they dim whem i move steering wheel, is this just battery related as there arent any fault codes or this normal cheers aaron

Is the fronts off a older porsche not compatible?

Hi basically iv read somwhere that the rear calipers work on a fabia? Is this right? If so what porsche wasit? Iv been told about a porsche breaking and parts going cheap but wondered the ins and outs of this? Sorry cant use search function on my phone

Iv just changed to a forward facing seat in my 55vrs n i had a mothercare chocolate or sumit travel pram so was a rear facing seat, i strapped it in, on the side it tells you the right angle and mine was secure and safe, mothercare diddnt fit mine though, hope this helps, be wary of the boot tho its smaller than it looks i have to put pushchair at an angle so it will fit, jst check itl fit before asy shopping 9 times outa ten ended being put on rear seat because of pushchair, good luck though

Pretty much each joint i have has oil around them :S only a bit but the joint does move up and down, and i had a shaft snap :(

on the upgrade you are talking about would it be just the 312 and 256 calipers, disks and pads of are hubs a must for a mk1 fabia vrs? do all the cars with say the 312fronts use 256mm rears?

right guys iv recently had a turbo go, the shaft snapped whilst driving and the car cut out. iv taken turbo off etc and cleaned egr and inlet out, ic piping has small amounts of oil in them,the oil pipes are clear and there car diddnt smoke anymore than normal when turbo blew. iv got stamps and in fairness when i picked up he was just finishing a service onit, i have done only 2500ish miles so shouldnt need a service yet? iv read horror stories about turbos etc have searched for answers but am gettin confused. also all the blades are intact so i have questions please 1. why did the car stall when turbo failed? is this normal? the car turned over but wouldnt fire.had management light on but cant tell you what it was for because i pushed wrong button and erased it before lookin doh!" 2. does the intercooler/piping usually have small amounts of oil in them? 3.why would the shaft snap its on 48thousand miles, cheers guys

bit off topic but i once fitted the half leather/alacantra seats into my old golf mk4 same mount etc on the golf just beware there heavy and i mean heavy plus the electric memory is a pain in the bum.

Could it be down to a lot of short journeys in the early mornings of about 3 miles without letting it warm up before?

right basically my turbo has had a awful wistle, then car lost all boost and cutout. had turbo off and the shaft has snapped! what would have caused this? could i just buy a new shaft and rebuild the turbo or? cheers aaron

hey basically i need a new turbo for my 55 plate fabia vrs asz code engine, iv found one from a polo 130, its from a blt engine will this defo fit? if so whats the differences? cheers
