Don't worry about only doing 12k miles in a 170 diesel with "an upgrade". I have one, and they are bullet proof. The 170 already has 312mm brake discs at the front. Any upgrade is good but not totally necessary for stopping power "on or off road". Just my two-penn'orth. Hope it helps?

Synchronise the key as follows. › Press any button on the remote control key. › Unlock the door with the key in the lock cylinder within 1 minute of pressing the button. Hope that works for you?
  3. You could reset them to the temperatures you originally wanted! (Not as easy as I made it sound, though.)
  4. No. It is completely different.
  5. Or you could try resetting temps using this
  6. ...and good luck too.
  7. Right. I did realise you had tried everything. I have released the front screen wash and experienced the stalk clicking through to the rear wiper position; but... you have obviously taken everything into account (including the maxidot). So it now sounds like a mechanical fault with the wiring sensor in the the clockspring area. Good luck.
  8. This will happen if the wiper stalk is pushed away from the steering wheel to wash the rear screen and not pulled back after release. In other words it is now stuck in the "rear wiper on" position. Worth checking, as the motor must be OK if it moves as you describe!
  9. Have you inadvertently pressed the safety switch on the door panel for the electric windows?
  10. Yes my calculation using different prices (applicable here!) was 43.56 mpg, so as above...
  11. Erm, yes. But didn't we all know that already?
  12. There most certainly is. Sounds like a smoke alarm and scares the s s smoke outta ya! Works very well too.
  13. I think if you remove the sills the mud flaps WILL fit...
