Insurance cost
On the Yeti (in my profile anyway) I pay £168 fully comprehensive with breakdown cover (but I did receive £30 cashback to arrive at that figure). The Subaru is now a classic car and is actually cheaper!

Advice Please - Affordable Diagnostic tool for adapting new DPF Sensor or just get garage to fix?
If the fault appears to be the DPF pressure differential sensor then it can be one of many things. One of the pipes may be blocked or split, or some gunge may have entered the sensor via one of the pipes, or a wire to the sensor has broken. I have seen a few variations; but they all mean that the sensor itself may be fine. Good luck. PS Find a VAG specialist who has dealt with such things before.
