  1. Thanks Wokwon ... I've no idea if I have the heater. How would I find out? Cheers, Rob
  2. Didn't think of that actually, worth a look .. Thanks a mill, Rob
  3. Today ... A friend of mine ( owns a 2011 520 saloon ) has just decided that after seeing mine ( for only the last three weeks ), he wants a combi .. He's had the BMW two years, and in actual fact in fact BMW's since 2003 . I was blown away by his reaction as he sat into the Skoda and suddenly realised ... "OH ****" Rob
  4. Are you kiddin' me ... Lucky B'stard going on holiday! (hope you have a great time...) Rob
  5. Thanks for that ... Just getting back to you now, I've been away working. I'll keep a close eye on this and try to get to the bottom of it. I honestly don't think I shorted anything when fitting the LED's ... I'll post anything relevant... Thanks, Rob
  6. Just another question, would these sort of electrical issues show up on a main dealer fault scan? My thinking is to take advantage of Skoda's free health check anyway, but I'd point them towards looking for this in particular ... Rob
  7. Thanks Superbdreams, Yes I can't believe the reaction either ... Great support from the forum. How did you short your tailgate diode? Electronics are not my speciality ..! Cheers, Rob
  8. Great guide jake, very well done mate ... Rob
  9. Sorry, just found that on the previous page ... Thanks
  10. Thanks for that ... Just tried that there now ... Torch definitely in correctly. aAlso tried cycling through the the positions and still it stays on (just one small filament bulb lit) ...
  11. I must have some sort of problem then .. Thanks for trying that. I'll look into it .... Cheers, Rob
  12. The cat's amongst the pigeons now .. I'll keep an eye on it. Thanks very much for that Coops. Thanks Jake, looking forward to seeing your "How to" guide, it'll be very helpful to a lot of us on here. Cheers, Rob
  13. Hi, The only way would be to fit resistors or another bulb inside the housing ... Tricky by can be done. I found some info on Google. Best of luck, Rob
  14. Bassmachine05, According to the Superskoda on-line shop, the LED number plate fittings won't fit the facelift model. I ordered the fittings as in the link above. Rob
  15. What a life eh' Jake? Rob NB: That should have read 'Combi' owners not 'Combo' PS: I believe fitting the LED puddle lights can be a delicate process (not breaking the mirror glass). Can you post how you get on if you have a minute?
  16. No, it was turned off when I put it back ... I think I've made a mountain out of a mole hill here..! It looks like it must have a dim glow when connected and that's normal. If any other combo owners fancy checking their's it would confirm this. Many thanks for all the replies lads ... Cheers, Rob
  17. Thanks Kilkenny, It must just be that way then I guess. I would have had a flat battery by now I suppose. If you can, could you ask them why they stay on? No problem if you can't. Cheers, Rob
  18. My take on it is this ... If you have your temp set to 23 but the outside temp is say 27, the air con on auto, will cool the car as quickly as possible to reach your pre-set temp then adjust itself as necessary to maintain it. HTH, Rob
  19. I have them fitted, bought from Superskoda, but they're not staying on, it's the little detachable torch. Is that what you mean? (apologies for any confusion ..)
