I did threaten to reject the car.Skoda customer service told me i need to contact the dealer if I want to reject the car.

Six months old ex demonstrator bought 18 months ago. But the repair was carry out by different dealers on February.

Nonetheless, please be assured that ŠKODA technicians at the highest level at our factory are working toward a technical and permanent resolution. Once again, please be assured that ŠKODA are conscious of the need for a speedy resolution; however it is imperative that this process is not rushed if an effective and permanent solution is to be provided

They told me a new engine may be got the same problem.

Mine used 11L over last 3300 miles after the new rings.

No one will going to buy a car with defective engine .

In response to your email and confirm our discussions today. Skoda UK have recognised that there is a concern with the oil consumption level on your car. In February we carried out a repair on your car under instruction of Skoda UK where we replaced the piston rings. As you state here and at previous meetings ,we have had you do not believe this repair has been effective. We have communicated your concerns to Skoda UK who have instructed to run the car for a 5000 mile running in period and then carry out a specific oil consumption test. At this time we have not carried out this test as you have not completed 5000 miles since this repair was done. I acknowledge your concerns but as I stated today I am not in a position to comment on reports on internet forums, nor am I in a position to carry out any repairs not approved and authorised by the Skoda UK who provides the contractual warranty on the car. I strongly refute any claims we are in any way discriminating on your because you did not buy the car from this dealership.

I know they did replace some engine.Just don't understand why they lying to customer.

Call customer service on 30 May but no update given .So i ask for a new engine and been told skoda never replace an engine due to excessive oil consumption.My car used 8.5L / 2700 miles after new rings, do i need to worry? Or just keep waiting?

Yes, my car had the new rings but it even worst. It used 7L of oil in 2200 miles.

Mine used 6L /2000 miles after piston rings replaced.

I was told there will be a new technical bulletin coming out within this month.
