  1. Top Gear's Paddy McGuinness has crashed after a Lamborghini Diablo he was driving sped off the road. Pictures sent exclusively to LancsLive show the £250,000 supercar being hauled away on the back of a recovery vehicle after the incident happened between the Lancashire and Yorkshire border. Police were called to the B6255 near Ribblehead and confirmed no other vehicles were involved. An eyewitness told LancsLive how Paddy was doing several takes along the damp road when the crash happened. https://www.lancs.live/news/lancashire-news/paddy-mcguinness-lamborghini-crash-after-18433684?utm_source=lancslive_newsletter&utm_medium=email&utm_content=BirminghamLiveWhatsOn1&utm_campaign=daily_newsletter

  5. Response from an American friend of mine (who runs several Mac workstations and servers and tests betas). He's not aware of issues such as yours but suggests: "He could try an SMC reset and zapping the PRAM. Those are the first two troubleshooting steps. After that is booting into recovery mode and running Disk Utility. If that passes, then use the 'reinstall' option (no data is lost, just the OS is reinstalled)" Also: "I'd power it off, then do the SMC reset and zap the PRAM. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT201295 Apple Support How to reset the SMC of your Mac Resetting the system management controller (SMC) can resolve certain issues related to power, battery, fans, and other features. https://support.apple.com/en-us/HT204063 Apple Support Reset NVRAM or PRAM on your Mac If your Mac has issues related to settings stored in NVRAM or PRAM, resetting it might help." HTH!
  6. "All cars, vans and motorcycles which usually would require an MOT test will be exempted from needing a test from 30 March 2020. Vehicles must be kept in a roadworthy condition, and garages will remain open for essential repair work. Drivers can be prosecuted if driving unsafe vehicles." Nothing about vehicles currently due for MoT or due in the next week. https://www.gov.uk/government/news/vehicle-owners-to-be-granted-mot-exemption-in-battle-against-coronavirus
  7. Just read an interesting article on Fleet News listing all the known emission zone activity for mainland UK. It seems to be up to date to January this year and also includes good details of what the various emission zones mean. I've summarised the listed locales, their actions and action dates below and a link to the full article is here. Low Emissions Zones action dates.xls
