  1. rose d'anjou or another variety?
  2. sat on the wine rack in the cellar waiting ; - ))
  3. Update - now received a Certificate d'Attestation for the Marlin, so next hurdle is to get a Controlle Technique (French MOT) on the car, then its off to the local Prefecture with documentation and application form together with a cheque book. The car should then receive a French regn number, that then needs to be taken to the testing station along with the C T certificate for a new one to be issued with the French number shown -- they do 'luv' their paper trails! Next prob is the James Transporter trailer, refused because I do not have any proof of ownership paperwork -- that is now in hand courtesy of a forum member then a re application/submission which should generate said Cerificate within a couple of weeks then off to the Prefecture with documentation and cheque book - trailers with a carrying capacity over 750kg need separate registration docs, another paper trail!!
  4. ^ ^ but do you wash more than 1 time/year Graham? ; -))
  5. I tow a twin axle car transport trailer, all up weight with car on board,1500kgs with no probs, I have towed with previous 110 2wd without probs now tow with a 140 4wd - more power, but tows just as well as the 110!

  9. Welcome to the forum! Try pulling the radio fuse in the fuse box in the engine compartment, think its fuse 8, to create a reboot of the radio - needs the fuse out for about 1 min - it might work, who knows, good luck!

  12. I originally had a Berlingo, thought about a Mk3 one, saw a yeti in a supermarket car park here a la frog, had a look, then had to pass a Skoda dealership in Brest en route a local hospital, called in equipped with my tape measure, it fitted my requirement to transport large r/c boats, bought one over the net from a UK dealer near Worcester, collected it on a visit to my mums, now on my 2nd one, been well pleased satisfied with service both sides of the channel!
  13. On my mk 1 the interior front socket is ignition controlled, so fused separately, - as I need stuff permanently charged had to install a usb socket in the dash top tray which I piggy back fused off the rear socket fuse!
  14. ^ fuse out in main box in engine compartment worked for me several years ago, remount fuse after about a minute to generate a complete reboot of the bolero, cured a similar prob!

  18. why not use a 2 way switch mounted in the boot to just switch between the 2 sides, i have a uk car here a la frog and use the facility to enable offside light each side of the channel, i also had to wire across! Cost £5 max!
  19. Santa arrives a little late here diesel 70p/litre, petrol 91p/litre,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,how good is that!
  20. ^^ but with the yeti you have to have front fogs on before the rears will work, I realise perhaps its possible to change this by reversing feeds on the switch!
