Yeah, none about now :( Cost you about £800 to get a set made...
-
Grey Yep It's got a few other bits too
-
I reckon you will struggle to get the heat into the reds on the Roomy.
-
I found the Mintex extreme pads to be very, very good and half that price. Shame you can't get them anymore. Still, if you have shelled out for them in preference to standard pads on standard applications they must be good.

Good choice, you won't regret it as lots of x VRS owners will tell you I have loads of photos however my normal hosting doesn't seem to be working so Ill post a link to everything I have which should show you aspect of the Scout even with leather http://gallery.eggwan.com/main.php?g2_itemId=23562 I paid £12700 for mine just over 2 years ago and that was with a load of options... If you were to compare with the VRS (IMHO) Pros Much more practical (By a factor of 10) More comfortable over long journeys Far superior handling Far better put together especially inside Far more ergonomic inside Better standard ICE Better overall reliability with better wear on main components (Tyres/brakes) Far more exclusive ESP as standard Cons More roadnoise Not quite a nippy No respect from other users Interior can be looked on as slightly more...utillitarian Marmite looks although when you get one you start to like it Hope this helps

Yeah, already looked into it they have the 288's on ATM but they will take 312's over the 16"s BTW.....it's a bit of overkill Nice
-
Put it towards an IAM skill for life course. Best upgrade you can buy.

physical differences in 1.4 diesel engines

Reduce vibration at lower revs or idle. if you didn't have one fitted, tickover would cause a lot of vibration in the cabin. The reliability of them seems in question but then it would on here as this is the place people come to post their faults especially after they ahve remapped and seem astouded when one component doesn't like the extra demand placed on it. I doubt 1.4 is never really going to trouble the standard DMF even remapped. -
I have a 10 year old Punto JTD that would laugh at that statement. Had it for 4 years, paid £1800 for it and it's been great. It needs a bit of love every now and again, but then it has done 96k....

Worked when I posted it Try this Ultimate car handling upgrade - Make any car handle perfectly for less then £100! Hope you find it useful Not saying different wheels wouldn't be better but having driven over 2000 miles in some simply horrendous weather (Even spending a night on the A3 after a load of artics got stuck) over the last three weeks I know my low profile equipped Roomster has been bloody marvellous and not had any problems with anything thrown at it. The night on the A3 was pretty hardcore http://gallery.eggwan.com/main.php?g2_itemId=28370 http://gallery.eggwan.com/main.php?g2_itemId=28373 http://gallery.eggwan.com/main.php?g2_itemId=28379 http://gallery.eggwan.com/main.php?g2_itemId=28382

Just give it a good tug and it will come. Common mod, lots of infor including a how 2 if you do a search
-
You need to be aware that the 9100 and the 9200 run their own amps and don't use the stereo to play music. Good value considering a simialr spwc Icelink is over £100 retail
-
Not really, just don't fit these in the winter. You seem to have found how totally useless they are the hard way. We been saying on here for years. For the 1or 2 weeks of the year where you might be margianlly inconvenienced by a bit of bad weather it's a lot of expense and hassel that you can probably manage around unless you do live somewhere which will warrant the investment.
-
Of course it is. For the other 51 weeks of the year you have a far better vehicle.
-
Only without maxidot
-
Nope. It's a hardware thing, on most of the newer models it's on the canbus and the Roomy doesn't have full canbus

Fitting a HID kit to your Roomster or Fabia II
Decron replied to Decron's topic in Skoda Roomster (2006-2015)
TBH I have no idea, probably 45mm however this is an identical kit from the same seller as I used http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/Xenon-HID-conversion-H7-KIT-FOR-VW-PASSAT-04-09-NEW_W0QQitemZ230373448204QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_CarsParts_Vehicles_CarParts_SM?hash=item35a353da0c -
vRS out of oil - put in some 10/40 Catrol Magnatec
Decron replied to djthompson's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
Just get it serviced when you can. -
Looks like a resistor box to me. All it does is fool the engine into thinking it's colder. Expect to pay £150+ for a decent digital box and £300+ for a decent remap
-
Yep http://briskoda.net/forums/topic/114677-fitting-a-hid-kit-to-your-roomster-or-fabia-ii/page__p__1439880__hl__roomster%20hid__fromsearch__1entry1439880 Unfortunately the links to the pics no longer works
-
It's odd don't you think that despite all the development, testing and data that's available from other cars fitted with near enough all the same setup that they would make such a choice and put potentially dangerous wheels on... :wonder: You know what the answer is? Ultimate car handling upgrade - Make any car handle perfectly for less then £100!
-
It will be the same as getting a box or remap on any other PD. Plenty of choice, should go up to early 90's at least
