  1. This is not really an additive as such. It's a cleaner, used to reduce smoking and restore a little performance if you feel it's needed. You shouldn't need to use it more than once a year. Most effective way to use it is to remove the fuel filter, drain the diesel out and replace with the Forte. Refit , chuck whatever was left in the bottle in the tank and go for a drive. It's good stuff and unlike a lot of products it will work. You will find that a lot of MOT stations keep a supply in stock  It also might not be recommended by the manufacturer but my local Skoda, Fiat and Saab dealers all stock it....

  3. www.geeksquad.co.uk There is an agent at Cribbs in Bristol
  4. You wont regret it. Bit pricey but it's a good kit. The voice dialling is great. Just make sure they upgrade the firware to the latest version before they finish with it.
  5. Not if you want to cancel out most of the effect of adding a rear bar.
  6. That would be the voltage the alternator runs at...
  7. CK3200 if you are tight, Mk9200 if you want the best. The 9200 can be had fitted for about £250 all in. At your home. At your work place. Simples.
  8. Why bodge a solution when you can just get one off the shelf? http://www.opieoils.co.uk/c-824-trico-neoform-single-blades.aspx
  9. I once went to a scrappy to get some bits for my Mini, they had a car about 3 up on top of a pile and a ladder with 3 rungs to get to it so up I went. I needed a set of column switches so I had to carry the large socket and arm to get he steering wheel off and when I got up there the whole pile started swaying but I cracked on as I really needed the switches. I couldn't get the damn wheel off, I tried everything and in one last attempt I gave it some real welly and pop..... pulled it straight off and smacked myself in the face with it. Broke my nose good and proper. I got the switches and slid down the ladder of death about 30 mins later covered in blood. The scrappy didn't charge me for the bits so bonus but my nose never looked the same again.... :( There was also another incident with a gearbox, oil on the floor and me landing upside down on two axel stands and a jack, which broke two of my ribs but even after ten years have passed it's still all a bit hazy....
  10. Same as any other PD. Recommendation is 60k and/or 4 years.
  11. Well considering the parts are about £100 thats about 3 hours labour? It's a pain routing the cables IIRC
  12. Yes, it is apparently a pain to do though. Have a search, it should come up.
  13. Wonder if there is a "Top 5 worst Skoda's" on any of the BMW forums?
  14. Good effort, very similar to the Roomster one I posted about a year ago (Your photos work, unlike mine ;( ) . They work well on those headlamps too making a massive improvement on OEM.
  15. Yeah, 150bhp Fiat engine. It is a completly different proposition to the skodas and even the golf I had. Quiet, refined, quick, a bit bland and bigger. Just done 500 miles in it over the last two days and its just so nice. Its averaged 47 mpg too. Need to sort some paintwork (hedge marks), lights (needs xenons...), fit the 9200 and clean the egr out and its sorted.
  16. Both vehicles will do pretty much the same thing. It will come down if you want extras and are prepared to wait 8 week for it to turn up
  17. Headlamp washers have to be fitted with Xenons, looking at the photo, this car has factory fit Xenons. This is a good thing. It also mentions ESP which is another good thing. However... "It is very quick and usually returns between 60-65mpg" Hmmmm... You will probably push 50-55 out of it if you don't use the loud pedal too much but 60-65, I'd have to call BS on that. All thats missing from that ad is "Beats 330d's away from the lights....."
  18. Generally. You wll even find Sainsburys tankers filling shell stations and vica versa. It's all the same...
  19. Honda make probably the worlds best lawnmowers for reliability and duty cycle (My old man used to fix and sell them as a business). You also don't need a crowbar to change the cord you Luddite!
  20. It will wear the car out quicker. The brakes, the turbo, tyres, Flywheel, clutch etc all will suffer meaning they will wear and fail quicker. Good excuse to upgrade but ultimately you need to be aware that the cost of a remap doesn't stop at paying the tuner.
  21. Not always, it's usually whats closer. All fuel can be inconsistant and the enviromnment is a much greater factor in how your car runs You will have no problems running supermarket fuel. They are just as good/bad as everyone else.
  22. My wife's 2000 w reg Punto is a multiair. Well...it has big holes in the footwells that let all sorts of air, water etc in. Does this count?
  23. No. Crap. As are all the other Bluetooth visor devices and a lot of headsets. As mentioned...the 3200 is a great value piece of kit and is easy to install.
  24. The easiest and most effective way to do this is through Outlook. Unless you have one of these Seriously, it's the best way. Your iphone when plugged in should look in the right places
