Went to hospital today for a follow-up CT Scan, following a bout of sepsis, appendicitis and an apparent blood clot. All was going fine until I left the hospital. Upon reaching my un-blemished Fabia Vrs I immediately noticed a 3 inch mark on the drivers side door! Some I say person in a crappy (rusty to hell) little Peugeot 205, H reg let a passenger out the back and bashed their door into mine! To top it off a 4x4 was parked the other side and had done the same thing to the rear door on the other side. Why, oh why do people do this and then seem to think nothing of it. I have had to work my backside off for the things that I have. I have cleaned, polished and loved my car for as long as I have had it and then in the space of one morning two inconsiderate individuals do that! People need to have a bit more respect for other people's property if you ask me.

I have the black text only sticker just above the n/side headlight and another underneath the Skoda badge on the boot lid. Not keen on the round stickers but may also go for the number plate holders too!

Our neighbours have 2 dogs, one of which seems to bark 24/7. It is totally f***in annoying the **** out of both us and the people on the other side. They just seem completely oblivious to it! I mean I'm not against dogs in general but at 3 o'clock in the morning it gets old very bloody quickly. Now, just gotta find and clean the shotgun!

I hope more people take the time to read this. Eight weeks ago I developed what I thought was food poisoning, but after 3 weeks of not eating and not getting any better I got my other half to take me to hospital. After 3 days I was diagnosed with intra-abdominal Sepsis, I can tell you this condition is serious! I was on five types of antibiotics and monitored closely by the nurses, even now my appetite is not right and I am still deathly pale. I have to be careful of what I eat and drink and have to self inject medication each day. In a twist of fate, the week before I started to feel ill I was made redundant by my company so at least I didn't have the awkward winding down thing to deal with. I am on the mend and feel better each day, also lost nearly 3 stone in weight and quit smoking so every cloud has a silver lining, I suppose. But seriously this is not fun to have and luckily I got it early but some people aren't as lucky. My heart goes out to those people that have lost someone.

As a new member it would be great to meet some other local members. Just got a fabia VRS '55 a couple of weeks ago and wanna get some 'ideas' for mods. Thetford would be best, I suggest either The Chase (Hungry Horse) or the Dears Leap as its car park is fairly well laid out and has recently been renovated insde.

Hi everybody, Just thought I'd give ya'll a quick howdy. Popped my skoda cherry last week and purchased an '05 Fabia VRS in silver, got it from autotrader on a private sale and over the moon. I had an 08 Ford Fiesta 1.4 Zetec Blue, Frozen white with ford stripes down each side of the car, (reminiscent of the ST.) Had all the gadgets etc. I can quite happily say that I shan't miss it as the VRS is AWESOME!!!!!! My first turbo diesel and the difference is happily brilliant. Will upload some pics shortly, just have to wait till the weather clears up. Anyways enough for now but will def tip my hypothetical hat to any other VRS's I see on my travels!
