  3. My other half has always favoured Ford. He was one of the people that laughed at me when I said I wanted to go back to Skoda "because it's a Skoda" But after visiting Horton's in Lincoln he laid eyes on the mk3 Octavia vRS... he's absolutely smitten! Every advert he sulks as we're not in a position to get a new car as we only got mine 2 months ago! Ladies and gents, I've achieved what was thought to be impossible!

  8. My OH was quoted that when he went to look at a mk3 Octavia recently and they said because you're hacking in to the electrics if anyone else does it, it will invalidate your warranty :/
  9. I'll always greet anyone that comes in my shop with "hello, can I help?" And a smile, if one of my colleagues says hello first, or if I'm on the phone and I make eye contact with a customer I'll at least smile, and as they leave regardless of who served them we will always say "bye" I never end a conversation without "is there anything else I can help you with today?" After all discussions either on the phone or face to face. I got a gent in the other day who literally spent the whole time looking at his feet (after being very rude on the phone to my colleague) and didn't even say goodbye - I still maintained a smile and a pleasant attitude throughout but he blatantly wasn't listening when I was talking to him about important information on his policy renewal. There's no need for anyone to be rude when being served in a shop - if it's the other way round people are very quick to complain...

  11. Oh don't get me wrong, I believe Horton's service is excellent, it wasn't the courtesy car that I was on about, it was MY car! We came back before my phone call to say the car was ready as it'd been 3 hours, we waited for 20 minutes whilst it was being "cleaned" but all they'd done was rubbed a few panels with a sponge! It was still filthy (and now watermarked!) Edit: I've now re-read my post and realised where the confusion came from thinking I meant the courtesy car being cleaned!
