  1. Why would they not say what model they have as I asked to give a correct answer?
  2. What model Yeti is it?
  3. Should be normal as the hydraulic actuated clutch is self adjusting.
  4. To discount the interior sensors press the button at the bottom of drivers "B" pillar or a double press within 2 seconds when locking the car.
  5. Yes that does point towards that, I would have thought the battery would be replaceable (my motorcycle has similar and that has a NiCad 9v PP3) but from the searches I've done it has to be replaced. On my motorcycle it has to be a high charge to get anything into the alarm battery, short trips will not do much to keep it up to scratch.

We are talking about the 1.2 TSI here. You missed """ on the 1.2 petrol yeti.""" from my quote and the Yeti has never been fitted with the 1.9PD engine.

Yes 5 years is the recommended change period My local VAG specialist where I have things like cambelt changes etc done charge £429 for cambelt change on the 1.2 TSI. Cheaper than the diesels because the water pump does not need changing on the 1.2 petrol yeti.
  8. That's a lot of difference between 2.4 bar recommended for front tyres of a fully loaded car and 3 bar.
  9. Front and rear.
  10. On my Greenline I run at 2.15 bar all round, usually just 2 of us aboard.
  11. Part 24 here? https://skoda.7zap.com/en/cz/yeti/yet/2015-779/8/853-853000/
  12. Do you mean the covers from dashboard to roof trim between the windscreen and door glass?
  13. What screws are we talking about here? On my 2015 Yeti the inner A pillar trims are held by hidden fixings, just slid down onto them.
  14. Not the voltage, but the capacity - expressed in Ah - of the battery, will differ depending on the SoH (State of Health) of the battery. This in turn will affect the charging rate, the point at which charging will cease and, of course, the ability of the car to draw power from the battery. I am asking about the voltage supplied to the battery changing, yes or no.
  15. So the BEM charges a worn out battery to the same voltage as a same type and capacity of a newly installed one and not to the same voltage as when new? Could someone explain that? Without going round the houses.
  16. But that requires the gear that costs more than the battery itself for something that definitely does not need doing if replacing with a fully charged like for like.
  17. I have heard it's best to charge the old battery before fitting a fully charged same type and same or very near capacity of the one being replaced.
  18. Tayna advised me that no batteries they sell are marked with a BEM code. It was said the main reason for this is so the Skoda service department can check whether an original battery is fitted.
  19. Does this help? Or perhaps a spudger.
  20. This is one of the rear discs I replaced on my Fabia, looked OK from outside but when changing pads this was the state of the inside of the disc and more than worn out pad on that side.
  21. I have always found it to be so when replacing discs and pads.
  22. The glow plug light did not come on at all when mine failed, just the engine fault light.
  23. It should not affect that.
  24. Are you sure the Yeti has brake pad worn indicators, most have not.
