  1. What one is the high beam?
  2. Exactly what he is wanting to achieve, nearer colour temperature between the two.
  3. Laser is the latest and best bulb I have them in my high beam and fog lights with standard xenon dipped beam.
  4. They are legal lights, I have been using Osram Night Breakers in my cars and motorcycles for about 15 years.
  5. Osram Night Breaker Laser bulbs will be a lot more of a match and give a LOT more light. LED bulbs fitted to a headlight not designed for them would be an MOT fail in the UK.

As long as the replacement battery is the same or very near the capacity of the original and is fully charged before fitting it can be replaced without coding. It is now getting about that the coding was just to prove to Skoda that the original battery is still fitted for any claims under warranty. Tayna batteries now no longer sell any batteries with the BEM coding on them.
  7. I had a similar problem on my Harley Davidson Electra Glide Ultra Classic, the rims where the tyre bead sealed had corroded, when I took the old tyres off I wire brushed the corrosion off and lacquered the bead area leaving them for a few days for it to harden before fitting the new tyres, they have gone from loosing most of the pressure in a week to about 2 pounds in 6 months.
  8. Are they the standard Skoda wheels or after-market? I find it strange that all 4 wheels have become porous. What were they like before you had the latest tyres fitted?

Did you not reset it before you started off?
  10. I added a large digital MPH screen to the Maxidot display with a Carista OBDII dongle in about 5 minutes.
  11. Could be battery voltage low, are you able to measure it before starting in the morning? Also what engine do you have?

That's not something a Skoda garage would use.

How long has it been "pinking"? Have you had the cam belt changed when it started?
  16. Most Harley Davidson drive belts are made by Gates, just looked at what mine cost, £345 and that is just for the belt with no pulleys!!!
  17. This is our local VAG specialist price list for Skoda.
  18. Adjust the stops, one each side near bottom of tailgate.
  19. This was on my Fabia with the same setup. Rears get so little use corrosion is a problem. The discs looked OK from what I could see except the inner pad was down to the metal.
  20. Mine is the same as the one you have taken out.
  21. This is mine.
  22. I read old filter as oil filter sorry.
  23. Is the oil seal not a component?
  24. 2 things, how do you know the housing is 2mm high? What do you mean " I was VERY gentle when prising the top off," ?
  25. Have they checked the car or just been told the ""exhaust inspection warning light on""?
