  1. Later Yeti Cam belts including yours are changed at 5 years regardless of mileage. They would probably last the life of the car and some are now being fitted like that, but would you take the chance? Edit: This shows costs at a VAG independent near me, I have used them for cam belt changes. https://lvsag.co.uk/pricing/
  2. In service schedule alarm battery to be replaced every 6 years (but I doubt if many are), My Fabia's was still working well at 11 years old.
  3. My dual tone horn is melodious but alarm is Very shrill.
  4. No it does not and it does have a back up battery that needs changing at about 5 years. Set your alarm off and see if it's coming from car horn. I think it's under the back somewhere. My motorcycle has similar and that takes a NiCad PP3
  5. What does the sticker on the boot floor say?
  6. I did not see that as we posted at the same time and you had not answered my earlier question as to whether it was working.
  7. Much newer Skoda sat-navs use 32gb cards so I can see no reason Skoda need to supply a 32gb card for sat-navs that are no longer made. I'll ask again have you updated your 16gb SD card with that new map and can confirm it is working?
  8. But that is compressed and needs to be unpacked. I take it you have downloaded, installed it and it's working?
  9. As far as I know all Yeti's have 16gb SD cards, that one requires a 32 gb SD card. Also much fewer choice of maps and they are dated 2018 whereas the last ones were 2020
  10. Why itemise £324 to remove the gearbox when its a clutch change? Did they not quote for clutch replacement, or is that their way of breaking the job down to maximise profits.
  11. What RPM is it idling at and with air-con on?
  12. If they say its caused by the clutch being worn why are they quoting to strip the gearbox down?
  13. That is how they work from the fob, no way to make it any different. You can always fold and unfold then on the drivers door mirror switch, about the 7 o clock position to fold them.
  14. We test drove a Qashqai in 2014 when we were looking for a car to replace my Fabia. It was impressive, until we had a Yeti test drive
  15. Qashqai released 2006 and went on sale in February 2007
  16. Is it similar to this? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ed-GCvmphEQ
  17. Have you tried slamming the boot lid shut to see if that may jar the fuel level float into action? 😀
  18. How many albums?
  19. Are the tracks in albums or the root of SD card?
  20. 2012 Bolero. Up to 32gb SD cards Only MP3 data and unprotected WMA data can be read from the SD card. All other data is ignored.
  21. A lot of Audi and VW cars wheels will be compatible.
  22. Dust inside car. You should not expect to do that as system is designed to operate OK with it in. I suspect it had not been fitted correctly to get the cooling it needed, or you had 2 or 3 duds.
  23. I think it depends on the quality of labour and materials at the last service and the use it's had since then.
  24. That eBay link is not working for me. How about this: https://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/19-PC-Engine-Universal-Timing-Belt-Chain-Camshaft-Flywheel-Locking-Tool-Set-Kit/173930899552 Edit: I was copying the reply, the original reply works, bits missing in the copied reply!!
