identical apart from one is red and one is clear ...... when you remove the red door card light there is a black over over the back of them which just pulls off and you can clip on to the boot light the same
-
buy 2 fabia boot lights ( they have clear lenses) then buy the 501 led bulbs of your choice .... it can all be done for under a tenner on ebay
-
might sound obvious but it isnt blowing around the cat is it ? failing that probs turbo as mentioned above .... there was a thread not so long ago and after a couple of secs most peoples turbos whistle on tick over

Holmesie replied to Metty92's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)

Holmesie replied to DAZZA66's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
would have to have a good check round pipes and radiator looking for leaks .... but if the smoke is unburnt diesel rather than steam ... this could be part of your starting probs maybe similarish to this ?? http://www.pistonheads.com/gassing/topic.asp?t=1086611 -
without reading the description just looking at the photos .... there are no real close ups of anything except the seats and the photos of the car are all from a distance / at funny angles .... not a good start for selling a car
-
if youve got plenty time and space to have a car / bits of car every where then you could possibley make a few quid if you have the car a few week

-

Whats your next car / possible car after the MKI
Holmesie replied to vRSAnt's topic in Skoda Fabia Mk I (1999-2007)
vw amarok ftw -
you could probs get some sort of wrap .... but why ?
-
you can send intercoolers away to be properly cleaned .... and yes +1 on removing inlet too^^ but really not much should pass through the intercooler
-
ive never driven in anything new transits etc .... with cruise that dont slow down initially when you hit an incline the fabia is the only one that then goes flat out back to 70 ( no trouble holding it there once its adjusted its self)
-
i thought it was if u had heated mirrors or a few other things then you can have cruise ... yeah i was like that^^^ thought i needed cruise nowcant remember last time i used itas its pretty poor .... hit a hill on motorway speed drops to about 60ish then its full throttle back up to 70
