When you drop the glove box, besides the screws underneath, there is one behind the prise off panel on side of the dash, accessible when you've got the passenger door open. You can remove that panel just with finger nails.

I'd say the air pipe into the glove box has popped off. It's dead easy to drop the glove box and check it. There's like 6 screws from memory?

OK, sorry if I sounded harsh. It's just every winter, people post up pictures or even 10 minute videos on YouTube of them driving on public roads at speed in the snow, filmed hand-held at the wheel. And I just can't fathom why they think that's a good idea.

Why do people think it's OK to take photographs / video whilst driving in the snow?

That Rapid advert is embarrassing to all Skoda owners in my opinion. I have cringed when it's come on when I've been with other people. That Golf advert's great though.
