  1. Using Tesla for a few pence cheaper than the Council chargers just down the car park and without the often hassle of the chargers cutting out and charging a minimum £1 then when working being very slow. Lovely day but cold. Getting 3.7 miles to a kWh. Next charge in 90 miles and on cheaper council chargers if working, but they can be busy. A fast turn around of Tesla's charging.
  2. ^^^^ rubbish on killing new batteries in 12 months. There will be plenty here that do not just switch off stop start when they start a trip and have batteries lasting the period of the Manufacturers Warranty on the car.
  3. The 35.5 PSI sounds pretty good, 30 psi pretty low.
  4. Actually pre 2012 were part of a Global recall, excluding Europe. They had oil changed from synthetic to mineral and a software update. The Service campaign was introduced in 2014 in Europe. The poor people landed with late 2012 - 2013 never got anything done, many of those failed. 2013-2015 were part of a Service Campaign started in 2017. software update. 2015-2018 some got Clutch Pack Updates & software Updates. 2018 there were issues for some WLTP time, not just the 1.5 TSI ACT Kangerooing and manuals, some duff DQ200,s. So now, Fingers crossed, Pretty much OK, 2020-2024 and on, but then we can only know how they are when 5 years old once 5 years old. Basically if only 2% of the 2,500 DQ200 DSG Skoda produce every day are duff as long as you do not get one. Just a pity Skoda / VW can not see fit to put an 8 year warranty on them, or admit failures are their fault and nit the drivers.

Or Quattro and quattro. They new @ BMW not to make the error of mixing their MINI brand with the classic Mini's.
  6. Guest_ replied to Expatman's topic in Skoda Yeti
The brand in MINI, not Mini.
  7. They have brought them in (Skoda / VW UK), paid the duty, maybe just nobody actually wants them yet. If they have first registered them then they must have met the 22% of Zero Emission vehicles that the VW Group need to without being penalised.
  8. Of course not. They just collected new cars, had issues and posted on social media and never brought it up with Dealership staff or Skoda Customer services.
  9. ^^^ #Tough titty. You posted in the Superb thread anyway so you know where it is, and anyone can look in the section if they are interested. @Graham Butcher Has hundreds of miles to drive without filling up, and those with EV,s have hours to sit queuing for chargers.
  10. The ones required with Mk2 Kodiaq & Mk4 Superbs that are causing grief to the owners / drivers, quite likely will be on the new Karoq and Enyaq, Octavia,Scala, Kamiq & Fabia with the newest tech.
  11. Maybe Skoda can get the software updates done before the vehicles get to dealers or to the new keepers instead of unfortunates getting landed with duff vehicles.
  12. 2.0 TSI or TDI,s or AWD 1.5 TSI,s From about 2018. 80,000 miles Oil & Filter changes or sooner if the keeper chooses.
  13. Owners of Karoq & Kodiaq,s have been getting Software Updates.
  14. @Graham Butcher What models of Skoda? .................................................. £35,500 RRP 14 months ago. In 2 years i am expecting to pay nearer £10,000 to buy one, or a 5 door petrol model.
  15. Best you check if the sensitivity can be reduced. I have seen others say it no longer can, but surely it must be and there are not going to be years more of people posting about similar things happening but now with the latest models from Skoda. 'Vorsprung Durch Technik' seems to have past the VW Group by.
  16. @Winston_Woof 'was' as in always has been. Pre Reg, Demonstrators, Management cars, yes it still is being manipulated. Now though it is clear to those very sales executives that were and are part of it, for the sales figures and their bonuses and incentives. Like a light switch went on and now they can see what they were blind to. Well tough titty really. Stay away from EV,s. Make Youtube videos, it makes sense you know.
  17. It tells me that the system is ballesed up, bit then it always has been, keeping the Car Industry in the UK in the past. high paid jobs, and cars going to businesses ans leased and into the used trade and keep the economy going around. Normal PAYE tax payers, small businesses and traders maybe working hard and those that can work the system doing that. The EV Market in the UK was being manipulated and people are going to be bit in the bum. Tax Payer public money, Joe and Jane public. But as always there will be winners, there always is.
  18. Guest_ replied to Expatman's topic in Skoda Yeti
@Expatman How is the fuel consumption?
  19. Fantastic news for Sir Keir Starmer's 'Working people' who decide why should i have money in the bank and get screwed in LEZ,s & wants to go buy a cheap as chip Used EV. The Pension Funds and Financial Establishments are the ones that have financed the EV,s and ICE Vehicles that Dealers & Traders have bought in and have in Stock, so again that is working peoples money, because it is not the Banks or Pension Funds, it is peoples.
  20. Not 5 year leases in the UK, 3 year so within manufacturers warranty and returned and Used Approved cars, Full Main Dealer Service History. Often not Serviced to the Manufacturers Guidelines, recommendation or Schedule by 4 or 5 years. Plenty 1.6 TDI cam belt failures, or actually tensioner failures, same outcome.
  21. Which is why i screenshot the page from the owners manual.
  22. @classicthat was not a slight on you. You show what your car is and 2022 and 2023 did have changes from earlier models.
  23. I think your memory on that is wrong. (& there are fWD only Yeti, would they just be getting chains fitted to the rear?) There are recommended wheel / tyre sizes for use with Snow Chains, and that is usually the smallest width / circumference that can be fitted.
