The original fitment Diamond cut 18" as pictured below. 2 of them have had a dealer smart repair (before we got the car) on part of the diamond cut face, only noticeable up close and they are the ones on the drivers side as pictured below. These are fitted with the stock supplied Good Year Eagle F1 tyres all round having covered approx 9k miles (I will see if I can find paperwork to confirm what mileage we swapped out the wheels). I can get some individual wheel pics and tread depth pics if anyone is interested. I am looking for £650 for the set of 4 and pick up preferred, or may be able meet half way, depending on where you are, we are near Ely in Cambridgeshire. Please feel free to PM me any questions :)

Yeah we have done short trips with him in the boot, but going on hols we would prefer him to be in the back seat as A: we have luggage and B: I am concerened about his comfort on longer journeys, especially in hotter weather as I doubt the AC will be much use back there ! Besides on the back seat he will have some company on the trip :) + if we get rear ended he isn't directly in harms way !

Has anyone got any recommendations for a suitable cover to protect the rear seats with a 33KG Labrador ? I want isofix and seatbelt access as dog harness would be on isofix and also an adult in the rear. I have found a few universal ones on Amazon, closest being 1.32m wide (Scala's rear seat measures 1.3m wide), but if anyone knows of something that fits well or even any custom Scala fitted ones, please point me to them :)

@Breezy_Pete PM sent Can not see a label in the boot (probably under the spare, which I didn't want to move ATM) ! Nothing attatched in the instruction book either.

@OotohereIts a 1.5 TSi ACT, no idea if its GPF or not. I will have a look in the boot when the wife gets home and see if I can find that label. @Paws4ThotYes perfectly clear, just that I don't know how to determine if it has sensors.

No idea about sensors, I have OBDeleven, can I use that to change it ?

Hi all, I had come across this before on one of my other VAG cars, where the official dealer said they could not reset the service intervals to variable from fixed on it first service. I assumed it was them not wanting to as it is less business. However we had the Wifes Scala serviced (23 plate 10k miles) at a well regarded VAG independent, and I had requested that the service be changed to variable. They said they had tried but the car wouldn't accept it. Is this a common thing now, manufacturers blocking this change to make more in servicing ? or am I being fobbed off ?

16" Alaris fitted with 205/55/16 Michelin cross climate tyres. Certainly not as aesthetically pleasing as the stock 18"s with Good Year tyres, but they definitely help smooth the ride over our pockmarked and scarred roads ! Despite the quite blocky pattern, the tyres are at least as quiet as the GY Eagle F1's if not a bit better, (but is apples to oranges considering the sidewall dfifference and summer to AS). Despite them being fresh and not scrubbed in, still gave a good deal of confidence in the damp and felt very sure footed.

Yep, just phoned the Garage to confirm, and that is the case 🙂 I now have a couple of weeks to apply a ceramic coating to the wheels 🤓

Ok Tyres bought and booked for fitting. The tyre fitting Garage with best ratings nearby was a bit busy, so no fitting for a couple of weeks. But 4x Michelin Cross Climate 2 in 205/55/16 V rated fited + balanced ( I am not sure about valves, being new wheels. But if I have to pay extra I don't mind) ,comes to a not bad (IMO) £354.32 😁

I was expecting a long wait, but I got a call today and have just collected them 7 days from ordering as a special order !

Well finally I have ordered the wheels for the Scala ! We have plumped for Alaris 16" in black metallic (I think they would look nicer than silver on a Monte Carlo). Not a bad price, £667 for 4. It is just a case of how long I have to wait now, they are a special order as they are already on back order ! I was told 2-3 working weeks, so fingers crossed. Once they are here I'll get the tyres ordered.
