  1. I don't think this is the case. Key always remembers the stored possition, not the possition the car is in when locked. (well not the key, but the car does remembering)
  2. if I brake sharply in mine 140TDI DSG 2WD, the only thing preventing me from hitting windshield is the seatbelt lock function. Yours doesn't sound right
  3. mine is DSG, so I don't change manually very often
  4. I get slight vibration when I do this. But that was always the case I don't think it vibrates more than it ever used to. Thanks for the replys guys.
  5. Hello everyone, just read lots of horror stories about failed DMFs and I'm getting paranoid as car will be out of warranty soon. Could you please listen to the recordings below and let me know if you can hear anything sinister? Dealer says all is fine, but as I said I'm paranoid. Car is 2.0 TDI 140 DSG, almost 3 years old, with 37000 miles. Thanks View My Video View My Video
  6. Mine is set to fixed and I can still see oil temperature in maxidot.
  7. Live stream should start on this site at 19.30 http://auto.idnes.cz/skoda-superb-c9o-/automoto.aspx?c=A150216_110319_automoto_fdv
  8. Thanks superb170 Windscreen was replaced by the dealer about a year ago. They say there was nothing to set. So according to above post the wipers sensor sensitivity can only be adjusted by VCDS? Dealer can't do it?
  9. Hi eveveryone, is it possible to adjust sensitivity of rain sensor any other way than by switch on the wipers stalk? By vcds, or by dealers software? Mine seems to be not as sensitive anymore. I had to increase sensitivity on the wiper stalk to achieve same results as with lower sensitivity setting two years ago. As I can't go any higher on the stalk, I'm afraid that without software adjustment I won't be able to use auto wipers in the future. Dealer had a look and says that there are no error codes and that they can't do it. Any suggestions? Thanks
  10. Ok, there is writing, but the actual rim protector is almost non existent. GY F1 asy2's have 6mm protector, which will protect your rims from curbing.
  11. Also F1 A2's offer rim protection and EGP's don't.
  12. If I'm reading the above list right, does it mean that when I have HHC, XDS should be possible to activate?
  13. Ventilated seats is the option I would choose everytime. They work great in conjunction with the AC. While the AC cools the interior down, it will never cool your bum, that's where ventilated seats come to rescue.
  14. something similar in this thread, have a look http://www.briskoda.net/forums/topic/314640-wobbly-speedometer-in-cruise/
  15. Just change the rerouting from dynamic to manual. It will ask you once and you can then decide yourself. It shouldn't ask again about the same delay.
  16. To replace either fog light or DRL light bulbs will you have to remove the guard?
  17. I would definitely check the fuse, just to be on the safe side. Also by taking the appropriate fuse out and then replacing it you will reset the control module for those lights. You might have inadvertently touched two contacts together when you were changing those boot lights. The same happened to me when I was doing lights at the bottom of the doors. They stopped working even with fuse being fine. Once I have taken the fuse out and then replaced it, lights started to work fine
  18. what happens when you remove the one from the boot and install original one?
  19. RichieJ: have you tried to reset your window limiters? As if not set, they prevent mirrors from folding. Just run all the windows one by one, down and up while holding the window button all the time.
  20. When connected via hfp with my Samsung note2, all notifications are made by the phone itself. Maybe it's an issue with your nexus.
  21. Until HTC starts supporting rsap, you won't be able to get the texts displayed on MFD. A phone has to be connected via rsap protocol to one of the later version BT modules for the texts to display on MFD.
