  1. http://www.peugeot-gti.net/forums/showthread.php?t=52411 quite funny but then the jokes started so i finisehed em... enjoy boys btw the vrs bloke, he off here by chance??
  2. i worried as well irf but im still getting what you get after 14.5k. Not a noticeable difference between 70 and 85 on the 315 to cranwell, like 4mpg. on way home from work though i average 22mpg. thats cos theres a small gap of time between me finishing work in one pub and the pub at home closing oh dear me. im a jakey in the making
  3. 700 miles in 2 weeks? good effort... quite right bout new un. i take it the dealers are more than happy with this? seems to be the 2006 cars are pigs what with the stuttering an all. my 05 only had dodgy filler cap and groaning clutch/engine mount. thank christ i didnt buy a new un, seems like a nightmare!
  4. neil, get back into queensborough! was it brand new or a used? i have found them to be the most helpful people about, always going out their way to help and book in me car at uber short notice and have it ready super quick both for servicing and the small fault i had with mine. pereservere, they seem decent enough people! niall
  5. before you all say batter on a set of 312's i was wondering what was on the market as way of upgrades in the pad/disc department? i've done a search and it seems people are using ferodo's but on motorsportworld there aint a vrs option?? it offers 154mm by 76mm pads... gsf dont do brembo discs either for the vrs so im at a bit of a loss. i used brembo discs and mintex 1144's on me old brief and they were the shiznit, jst loking for something similar in performance thats gonna slow me down if my car ever becomes a star performer... so my question is, 1) what pads / discs you using? 2) where you get em from? 3) how many earth pounds they cost? cheers dudes and dudettes niall
  6. very nice bits of kit, but i found the bhp to be way out when using kerbweight + me with hardly any gas... was 40bhp low. should a remapped one not be faster? mine was clocked 7.9s 0-60 at the french car show when standard?!
  7. well 0 - 60 was 7.91s sqm was 16.31s - still mighty wheelspin launching in second though!!!
  8. ran the 206 off the line in 2nd - whole second of a difference. running t1 r's on the front. i know how to launch it just the in gear changes i was looking at. looks like it might be close with the 306... will let boys know on monday. bring on FCS
  9. evenin all, might have the furby on a strip on sunday, just wondering what to expect standard? got a lad in a tuned 306 HDi that wants to hand my **** to me. my tuned hdi ran a 16.5. is this poss in a standard furby? also what rpm you change at for best oomph? cheers, Niall
  10. yup mine too, seems to be from passenger side somewhere. for got tomention it at the 10k service but least i aint the only one
  11. good discount there chief! but spose he wanted shot cos it was there for a few months, the vrs's usually walk out the door, must have been the miles vs price tha put peeps off. i didnt mind the 18k, meant it was good for a remap striaght away. aye its all abut the phoning ahead, prior preparation an all that, but you seem to have a good deal so cant complain. ill still not darken their door...
  12. got it back this afternoon - £130 inc vat. result!!
  13. mine goes in for 1st service in the morning - quoted £135 by queensborough. thats 10,700 miles in 10 months, of which 1900 were in the last week. ouch
  14. im 21 on old dears policy cos my crash is still showing up (0 points) :( but G63 is still giving me £100.19 a month for any driver including under 25's with CIS... good old student life eh? all the mods on my 206 were free - suspension, chip, filter, decat, zorst, alloys. made 35 brake over stock bhp but cost nowt more than the premium (£875). result would like to think mods on the furby would be nowt to... did a pre date quote with elephant with those mods (+30% power) and got a quote in my own name for the same pug for £730. will see what they say with me furby...
  15. cheeky *******, bumpers are further out at the back and the nose is much longer, dont help the fact the furby is 5 door and my 206 wasnt  you know what they say, practice makes perfect
  16. i used to have a 206 and the fabia is a nightmare to park. i see a space nd think "im in" need parking sensors on the mofo cos my mind is still looking for ickle 206 spaces :thumbdwn: 206 good bit smaller
  17. ha althoguh it was only a facelift, my V5 says skoda fabia mark 2 VRS. mk 2??? hardly a mark 2... its an 05 btw. wonder if this years one with coloured handles will be the mk 3?!
  18. i had mine in for a post pothole inspection (being charged to the council) and mentioned the brakes, they said they will modify them at the first service
  19. minted. mind made up. off to morrisons at the weekend
  20. i had contis. they lasted 8k + 1 pothole. soft sidewalls total pap. could maybe have ,made 10k toyo t1 r now £160 a pair. cheaper than the contis though
  21. i clocked it at 6.9 then 7.1. quick bit of kit. need to bust me a remap as an ex super leggy owner im not so keen on the new ultra leegy rims. sorry dude
